Saw the game. Pipino is playing out of this world, and I'm happy to see Gata score. Although he didn't have to do much. Cuevas did an amazing job setting it up.

I heard the "Bostero La ******** que te Parrio" song alot last night. And yes, I was singing along.

Que Riverr no van con la federallllll

Not only that but the last songs I herd of the game were against maradona, and didnt sound pretty at all.

Me being a huge RIVER fan really wouldnt or care about singing against the greatest, after all he has always defended ARGENTINA where ever he went.

Pipino started and was yet again responsible for a Gata score. Another beautiful run past multiple defenders and an on-target feed.

Gata was on Racing last year, no? Anyway, I was hoping Racing can at least hold up a draw at la Bostanera. Ah,well. At least we're level.

and so can colombians the only reason argentinans start on every major team in the world is because of there nationality not there talent its much easier for a bad argentinean midfield to be bought by say inter than a good colombian one

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as an American, and a fanatical supporter of River Plate, the term "bostero" refers to "cow ********" correct? Also from what I've been told, the term "gallina" means chicken right? Well I don't know about you, but at least my term is a living, breathing, eating, mammmal. Yours is nothing but a piece of crap, and we all no what crap is good for. :)

It would be tape delay ... as the new time for the game is 7 pm Argentina ... 6 pm EST

In Argentina they will show both games live, one after the other. ;)

I hope you went to the game to fill in those stands in which I might add not even playing in a stadium for a capacity of what 20,000 people, its not even half full, how sad.

Even sader you being from peru and rooting for boca.Btw Argentina beat Peru the other day WCQ were you sad or did you have some mix emotions?

Now to the River game, the defense needs to get their shyt togther how in the hell can we loose a game in the final 5 minutes in the game?!
I said it when Ameli was sold its going to take RIVER a long time for its defense to get it together, sad but true.

Mistake #2 is not getting Matias Almeyda. This Cristian Ledesma he might give it all he gots but dam too many fouls and always on the border of getting red carded, thats not the type of player we need. Yes MAscherano will be back but what wil happen when he has to report to NT?

River despite having a good team needs to work alot and especially on defense.

And .. were you rooting for Boca? LOL

As to the # of peeps in the stands ... I got to the game about 15 minutes b4 the game ... impressed of the amount of people outside ... huge lines to get in with tickets on hand ... without announcement the authorities had pressured the organizers to allow only people with tickets pre-bought. Only after seeing the big turnout, and the fact that there were only 12 policemen at the stadium, did they let the close to 10,000 peeps go in.

In terms of turnout, and despite the reduced promotion of the game dur to Frances, I think the turnout was more than SATISFACTORY. ;)
