Looked to me from the replays that Bujan knocked Costanzo after Costanzo had the ball. Maybe the ref thought that Costanzo didn't have control of the ball. But regardless, you can't run into the goalkeeper. Just like in ice hockey, you run into the goalkeeper, and it's a penalty. It should've been called.

Pipino Cuevas was responsible for River's lone score. He beautifully split two defenders on the left and sent a perfect pass to La Gata in front. A marvellous play.

Cristian Ledesma received two yellows and was sent off the field. We'll miss him next match.

El Club Atlético River Plate sigue expandiéndose por todo el planeta. Recientemente firmó un convenio de colaboración deportiva con el club de fútbol norteamericano West Broward United (WBU) .

Los fines de dicho convenio son la creación de un programa de intercambio de jugadores y entrenadores; la formación de futbolistas infantiles y juveniles; la formación de equipos de alto rendimiento para que representen a WBU y además, la organización de seminarios, clínicas, cursos y charlas .

West Broward United está situado en el estado de la Florida. Está registrado ante la USSF, la US Club Soccer y la FYSA –entidades de Estados Unidos- y participa de los torneos más importantes en su país para varias categorías (Sub 12, Sub 15, Sub 17, Sub 19 y adultos). Además, cuenta con tres escuelas de fútbol para chicos de entre 3 y 12 años. Hoy, por intermedio de la Soccer Center Corp, se encuentra realizando inversiones para crecer como institución. Por ello recurrieron a River, el club más importante del país.
WBU.

El convenio con River Plate incluye la realización en las instalaciones de WBU de torneos, pretemporadas y partidos amistosos. El personal del cuerpo técnico de River será trasladado a dichas instalaciones para participar de las prácticas y entrenamientos y todos los gastos (traslado y estadía) estarán a cargo del club de la Florida. A su vez, WBU tendrá la posibilidad de utilizar el vestuario oficial, símbolos, colores, insignias y otros signos distintivos de River en competencias oficiales , respetando a los sponsors de River y acordando con Adidas la provisión de la indumentaria. A su vez, el West Broward United tendrá la facultad de explotar merchandising e indumentaria, siempre y cuando respete los contratos con los respectivos sponsors de River, en un reconocimiento exclusivo dentro del estado de la Florida.

Por su parte, se desarrollará una programación de seminarios de interrelación deportiva, predominantemente de jóvenes jugadores aficionados de WBU en nuestra sede. Durante los mismos, los jugadores de WBU serán asistidos por personal de nuestra institución , y les serán prestados alojamiento, alimentación, transporte, preparación física, asistencia técnica, cobertura médica, cursos acelerados de estudio y aprendizaje de idiomas, entre otras actividades. Todos los costos de los mismos estarán a cargo de la dirigencia de WBU.

La parte económica del WBU está manejada por la empresa Soccer Center Corp (SCC), quien es dueña del porcentaje accionario mayoritario del club. La Soccer Center se dedica al desarrollo del fútbol (equipos y jugadores) en el sur de la Florida. Se encuentra en la ciudad de Sunrise, en el condado de Broward (de ahí el nombre del club). Tiene una escuela de fútbol con más de 300 alumnos y es una empresa de entretenimiento que tiene bajo su responsabilidad la conducción técnica y el entrenamiento de varios equipos de fútbol con jugadores cuyas edades van desde 9 a los 17 años.

El acuerdo entre ambas instituciones ofrece un reconocimiento recíproco de porcentajes económicos sobre futuras transferencias de jugadores, de acuerdo a su club de origen y el desempeño en el otro club. Para finalizar, hay que decir que el convenio tiene un plazo de vigencia de dos años .
