I have been looking on the official River site, and in particular at the pictures of the stadium.

Magnificent does not even begin to describe it. I wondered about the facilities in the stadium, swimming pools, electric race track, dance halls, restaurants etc.. are they actually IN the stadium? or on a seperate site.

When i was looking at the pictures it seemed like being inside a small city.

Hehe it's ok. They have an English version of the site, which is good. My spanish is basic at best.

But it's unclear from the photos whether all the facilities are actually inside the ground. Things like tennis courts and kids parks are outside. But the cinema? swimming pool? Are they inside???

*sigh*

YES i saw the website. The whole website. BUT are the things like the cinema and swimming pool INSIDE the stadium or not?? It's hard to imagine that they are, i am unaware of any english stadium having those kind of facilities.

Please don't post up another link to the official site, i've been there and seen it for myself. All i want is my question answered!! :(

I really enjoy watching Cavenaghi play. Great forward, bright future. Now why isnt he on the olympics team? Surely he and Tevez can form a great partnership for years to come. Does the coaching staff think hes not good enough? Or just lack of a roster spot. Fill me in please, thanks!

Cavenaghi was the starting center forward last year at the Youth World Cup. He was not a part of the Olympic Qualifier Tourny last January.

At the OQ ... Tevez was the starting stricker. Remember Tevez did not go to the YWC because he preferred to play with Boca the Intercontinental Cup against Milan.

Cavenaghi was now in the process of going to Rusia to play. The signing of his contract took weeks ... and Bielsa did not call him to take part of the team at Copa America (basically the Olympic team) nor to the Olympics.

To secure the players transfer is very important for the player and the club ... being this the first time Cavenaghi was playing in Europe ... and Bielsa understands this and practices it. Still ... I like Cavenaghi myself ... but he will have a tough time in future NTs as there are a number of very talented players in his position: Crespo, Saviola, Tevez, Figueroa among them.

I hope he gets a chance. He deserves it.
