I haven't seen Pablo Aimar's younger brother Andres in any line-ups. Isn't he good enough to be a starter or is he injured?

I think hes at Estudiantes de La Plata.

As for River, they are playing horrible. Against San Lorenzo they couldnt even make 3 straight passes ina row.Not to mention the Lucho Gonzalez,Mascherano, and Gallardo all played togther. Patiño since his arrival to River still hasnt done anything at all and has gotten the fans impatience at times hes gotten the ball and takes his time, hes a great player and Astrada still believes in him and knows sooner or later hes has to show what they brought him over. But in general all River is playing bad and it will be injustice to blame the mediocre season on a few players eventhough a main reason for this bad moment is that halfway into the tournament River still hasnt found a defense that shows a solid line. I said it when Ameli left Rivers defense its gonna be hurting and bad.He was the leader in defense and of the whole team.I dont recall a season where River has lost so many games to small teams and played awful. All that we have to look forward to is to beat los bosteros and end the year the best we can.

Gata has been suffering from tendonitis of the left knee, so it's great to see that he's being listed as a starter.

I agree with you Leo. It shows how much we miss the leadership of Ameli. He was the anchor of that defense. I sure wouldn't mind seeing him in a River shirt next season. Would love for Juampi to come back also.

All three River goals were beautiful. Mareque's was astonishing, with him shooting from about twenty yards outside the box near the sideline on the right side of the net. And the camera angle was perfect to see the ball's curve during its flight.

Anyone who hasn't seen it must catch Futbol de Primera tonight.

By the way, because the U.S. is back on standard time, Futbol de Primera will be on at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT.
