Hmmm... I'd say a safe bet would be Yakima, Toppenish, Wapato, Gleed, Granger, Zillah, Naches, Tieton, Selah, Moxee, Brownstown, Prosser or Sunnyside, with the Tri-Cities also right up there. Cripes all three networks are probably both over the air AND cable offerings in the barrio of WA.

I haven't called yet, but according to their schedules, it is the times which haven't been confirmed, not the games themselves.

Aah the George and Dragon...a great spot to catch a game. Just get there early.

No games (or times) are confirmed yet.
G&D doesn't have galavision (or telefutura), and is still working on getting the games (or tapes of the games). As of now, nothing is set.
They said they'll try to update the website Monday with any news, but best to call beforehand (206-545-6864).

Any info (invitations) would be mightily appreciated.
Thanks.

Has anybody found anyplace else that will be showing it? I have little confidence that the G&D will come through. Bueller? Anyone?

G&D have updated their website (http://www.georgeanddragonpub.com/football.html). It looks like they'll be showing the US/Turkey game tomorrow night at 7.

Less than 24 hours away and I know of nowhere in Seattle to see the US-Brazil game - any help out there?

G&D just told me it won't be showing US-Brazil live on Saturday (though it might at 3 pm on Sunday, the guy said). Somebody has to be showing it live, right? Does anyone know of any Hispanic sports bars in the Seattle area that get Telefutura? (Or any bars that are on the DISH system--which I'm told has Telefutura?) And, just in case I'm still scrambling, what's this about some Asian internet feed, Scoey?
Thanks for any and all help.

There's some talk on the Seattle Soccer mailing list that Torero's at Crossroads Mall on the eastside has Telefutura. Apparently it is also available with Dish Network (Channel 831).

Any chance that Latitude 47 will be showing it?

Thinking back to the Gold Cup, they've been historically unreliable.

I called Torero's and they said they'd be showing the game tomorrow.

I did the same and they said they DO have Telefutura and they WILL show the match if someone asks. I would feel a little more confident if the woman on the phone sounded a little more like she knew what she was talking about, but yes, she did say they would be happy to show the game. I really have no idea what kind of place this is. I assume it's an adequately-sized place that serves drinks.
Here's the address of the Torero's "Taqueria" in Bellevue:
15600 NE 8th
Bellevue, WA
(425) 643-5585
If anyone thinks of a place any closer to UW by all means post it. Vehicleless people want to know.
And while I was calling to try and find out if it was somehow possible to watch USA-Brazil on TV somewhere, the Indiana Blast and Cincinnati Riverhawks were on my TV. Does that strike anyone else as somewhat twisted?

When I called I spoke to a woman and then a guy. He already knew what time the game is on so that's a little reassuring. But if a few more people want to call and ask it sure can't hurt. They were friendly and helpful.

I just called, talked to a woman, and she said they don't have Telefutura. At first she didn't know, then she asked somebody about it, and she said they don't have Telefutura, only Univision and, I think, Galavision. I then tried to flirt with her in Spanish. What a disaster.
Is this the first anybody has heard that they won't be showing it? Grrr...

Weird...
I specifically said Telefutura to the man I spoke to and he said they'd be showing it.
