The US was absolutely spectacular today against Poland.

Was slightly upset that Benny only got about 8 minutes but that happens when you're getting the shaft at your club.

Jerseys looked sick as well.

The first half was so-so on the whole, but we were really good in the last 20 minutes or so of the first and the whole of the second half. Those two set-piece goals made it look a little better than it was in the first half. No question it was a dominant performance, though, and hopefully one we can build upon.

Donovan was great (still needs to leave MLS to keep improving), the defense was solid (particularly Bocanegra, who is a Premier League defender even if Fulham go down), and Bradley is gonna be world class sooner than a lot of people think. (nudges KK)

You know Jay, I find it funny that we can't agree on anything. First when I think you're just a Keegan hater. I read your Benny hatred. Does anyone ever please you?

I don't hate Benny it's just his fans that think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. He can't get a game with Derby(granted wrong team and wrong league for him) and yet he should walk right into to the Nats midfield and start?

I suspect you and I would have a lot more in common then either of us care to admit.:D

You see I'll agree on that note that the US forum retards rooting for him are absolute cock stains with no grip on reality. He doesn't deserve to waltz in but he at least deserves a shot in spite of him getting the sharp stick in the eye from that fat ******** Jewell at Derby. Maybe I'm a little biased having played with him and hung out with him (same high school although he's a few years older) but it's not like he's some punk kid who can't play.

I fear what those things we agree on are. :p

I don't know why he moved to Derby in the first place, HSV is a pretty quality side.

Seemed like a decent deal at the time. Newly promoted side, playing in arguably the best league in the world. I'd take that deal.

He would have been better off going to another Germany side or to Spain. English football isn't pretty (outside of Man U and Arsenal) nor does it favor a player that needs time on the ball to best utilize his skill set.

I'd rather play for an elite German team than a ************ English side. Works for Van der Vaart and Diego.

Ah, I assumed that he wanted to leave.

Still, if anyone thinks playing for Derby is better than playing for HSV...that person is crazy.

He was primarily playing for HSV2, for the record.

He was an unused sub in their 2-2 draw with Fulham today.

If he went to New England or Houston it wouldn't be that bad as both of those teams can play. Cracking game from them so far today.

Thanks for the great goalkeeping in a 3-0 loss today Onstad. At least I get a point from Parkhurst for a shutout and a Ralston goal helps too.
