I voted for DC but I'd have to say Chicago, Dallas and LA are in the mix, but we don't really seem to have any real rivalry that stands out amongst them.

We have no rival. We have teams we hate, but no rivals. A rival has to care about the match up more than just wanting to beat you because it's the game they have that week.
We as fans dislike Chicago, LA and DC. Those teams all have teams that they dislike far more than us. Chicago hates Dallas and DC. LA has Chivas, and I'm sure they still hate Houston since they came from San Jose. DC hates NY first and foremost, then the rest of the east.

I know after the game up in Toronto some of the TFC fans on the forum said that since they didn't have a rival and such that they were going to chalk us up as one. I know I will for sure be booing/whistling at Dichio everytime he touches the ball when they come back to Arrowhead. He is dirty

I have to agree with this, a rival is a team where the game is more then just the game itself. We don't have that. Any team geographically close to us already has a team their more rivalrish with, CO has RSL, Dallas has Chicago and Houston, and Chicago has Houston, we don't really have a rivalry, one where the hate between the fans is bigger then the game itself.

I guess I hate all of the "big market" clubs. simply because they get more coverage, and we're at the top of the league.

i agree with this. and the players foul so much (mostly because they aren't as good as us, and don't know what else they can do to stop us killing them). i can't wait to play them at home again when it's not pouring down rain!

it's not just them that fouls them all the time, it's a strategy teams have started to employ against the Wizards.
Why want it not to pour? We kicked their butts in the rain I'd so go for that again.

if the team isn't wearing blue or white with kansas city on the front then i hate them. its pretty simple, i really hold no team higher on the hate meter cause they are all on the top. KC vs. the world thats how i look at it. bring 'm all on!

If only STL had a team. It is all about sibling rivalry.

DC got my vote as the fans, uniform, and arrogance are the added bonus reasons on why to hate DC.
The rival was LA, but the move East killed that. Going forward MLS will be bigger so eventually even 3 games series will be a thing of the past. When that happens geographic rivals and previous years' playoffs will be the only deciders.
Philly is high on my list too, but St. Louis will overtake everyone but dc for me. The black and white will remain on a level on par with KU athletics, the Oakland Raiders, and U-Texas anything.

Unfortunately, it is the St. Louisan way to declare Chicago their main rival in all things, even if Chicago doesn't reciprocate.
Minneapolis. Now there's a city we could have a decent rivalry with.

to me there are two kinds of rival teams...
Derby (local teams) and success (trophy winning)
Derby rival= Chicago Fire
Success rival= D.C. United
I love derby games, its like playing your next door neighboor.
and you got to love who is the better team rival, for example, us and DC United, were always playing each other like its up to one of us to win the league (2004).

actually if you're going by trophy winning, it'd be Chicago, we've beaten them in the finals of each cup we've won.

i was going to say DC United because i think they're our biggest rival, but since the question was posed as "Who do you hate the most?" i picked New England.

If the question is "Who do you hate the most?", my answer is DC United... every day of the week and twice on Sunday...
