From what I've seen, it's still at the beginning stages. Declaration of interest, etc......

The kicker sports magazine reports that Werder are interested in signing Podolski.

I guess they will want to swap Klose and Poldi.

I was talking about the possibility of this kind of transfer last week and I think it would be a nice deal!

Werder's transfers are causing some real trouble for Bayern. And with Roy Makaay's departure to PSV or Feyenoord Bayern will have to sign a top class striker.

If we get podolski exchange with klose, that would be very good. But i don't think it will happen. You never know what surprise the KATS have :D

Getting Podolski would be some piece of business. I can't see that happening.

Rummenigge categorically ruled out Podolski potentially moving on at this stage. “We signed Poldi until 30 June 2010, and there’s no way he’s leaving Bayern. He won’t be sold, and he won’t be sent out on loan. We believe totally in his ability, because we’re convinced he’s one of the most talented players in German football.”

When it is on the Bayern homepage, it is pretty much gospel. As for Makaay, yes, there have been inquiries, but he still has a contract until June of next season..Meaning? Bayern don't have to do anything. I think the only way they will let Makaay go, is if Klose comes this summer.

That it is on the Bayern homepage shows,
that there is something about the rumours.
Otherwise they just have given an interview.
Prooves for me, that Bayern gets nervous,
that Klose is not already in Munich and other players,
Olympique Lyon and some EPL clubs, join the poker.

There will happen something in the next time. ;)

I am not sure why Bayern would be nervous about it. Then again, a top forward comes on the market and they have a reasonable chance to get him...I think it i obvious that they would go for him.

As I have said before, this whole Klose to Bayern thing is just weird. 2 months ago I don't think anybody would have ever thought of this. And I agree, I think there will be some other suitors for him as well. Unless they are not telling us something I do NOT think this is a done deal yet.

Sure, if they wouldn´t try, they were a bad management.
Only things, that makes me angry is, that the Klose transfer
became dirty (talks one day before UC semi, rumours about Kloses family, renege on a promise, ...).

Totally agree. I also wouldn´t have imagined it.

It’s pathetic that klose is saying he’ll be playing for bayern from 2008. He shouldn’t even be allowed to talk to them before werder give him permission.

I don’t know why Werder aren’t reporting this to fifa.

Chelsea are reporting Real after their president declared they were in contact with robben.

They won't report it because it doesn't matter. Klaus Allofs is not going to keep around an unhappy Miroslav Klose...we saw last season how productive - or should I say unproductive - he can be. They're gonna sell him for 10-15 mil euros

i hope so, with that kind of bank we can fill his place no problem

dont have much respect for klose right now...its amazing he can go from the king of germany basically after the world cup to such a level of distaste...being out of form is one thing, but going to bayern behind his club's back and diving in a, important game is another

To be honest, with all the shit floating around him atm, I don't blame him at all.

I knew at one time he said he would never play for Bayern, but things are so poisoned right now, its best for him to go.

That’s the whole point of the rule, to stop clubs unsettling other clubs players.

Klose shouldn’t have an offer from bayern as long as werder don’t allow him to negotiate with them.
