No offers from abroad?? Or did Klose's comments pretty much kill that?
As I said, I don't know if word got to Rikjaard yet, but my friend Kati says the fans there aren't happy with his comments. Some of them were thinking Klose was considering joining Barca.
But no, no official offers yet. Which is not shocking. Many Spanish clubs only start their transfer issues after their season, which has two weeks left to go.
Well, one more week after this weekend.

They should call West Ham. They are splashing the cash, and he could be their replacement for Tevez. He'd partner well with Dean Ashton.

Can you imagine Germany's top striker going to West Ham?
No quality club from abroad showed interest (or he didn't want to be Eto'o's sub) so he opted for the biggest domestic fish. He will be a Bayern player next season.

he would have to fight for a place enywhere he goes...even bayern with schlaudraff, podolski, toni, maybe rheuma kai.. i'm sure if he plays like the second half this year, he will be on the bench with bayern.
if he wanted to be guarantee a place in the start 11, werder would have been better.

Something happened there to change that. I don't know whether it was the family rumors, a run-in with Frings or what.
Or maybe it’s a bit simpler than that.
He decided he wanted to play for a bigger club ( and bigger money) than werder before the end of his career and as no major foreign clubs came in with a serious offer he decided to take bayern’s .

I'd say it's quite early to say that... the transfer season just started. Remember, bayern did something illegal.. that's why this happened so early.

You're a better man than me. I would have hated them after the Ismael thing......
Until a few years ago when the DFB/DFL changed the rules to cover Bayern's cheating asses that was totally illegal.
The Ismael case was different for me.
Ismael broke his promise, too.
But the difference was, that it wasn´t as dirty as this case now
and the transfer was handled during the summer break.
This time all was done to destroy our season.
That´s why i am so angry.
One of my best friends from Erlangen is living in Barcelona now and she says that Rikjaard has interest in Klose, but the fans aren't thrilled with his "I will play for Bayern" comments.
About a Barca interest i heard only rumours.
Olympique Lyon sent an official offer to Werder
of 10 million € and French national player Alou Diarra.
Bayers offer was 10 million €.
He would leave. Your guys have to sell him.
Yes, but he also has to accept the club. I would like,
if Klose would take the Lyon offer.
It´s a nice city, he can go fishing there, too.
The kids are very young, so they don´t need to go to school yet,
for women the city is also nice, so his wife would propably
feel well there as well. And he spoke in many interviews
about his wish to go abroad.

Why would they care that he said that? They haven't officially made an offer for him, so they should do that. Then he will consider them of course.

I think these bayern comments from klose's "agent" might just be made up by bayern themselves :D

No. I kind of "know" this kid. It's not that simple. Something else happened there.

Today kicker.de (http://www.kicker.de/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/artikel/124568/) sums up, what happened in the last 2 weeks:
- Bayern made an offer of 10 million € transfer fee
- Werder denied
- Werder suggested to get Podoski and some money
- Bayern denied.
- Klose said, he will go to Bayern in 2008, if Werder doesn´t let him go
- Lyon made an offer of 10 million €
and French national player Alou Diarra
- Wiese and Frings suggested Miro to leave
- Klose couldn´t understand, why everybody is angry on him :rollani:
- Klose confirmed, Lyon spoke with his manager Alex Schütt
- Carlos Alberto from Fluminense Rio de Janeiro keeps in talk
- Daniel Jensen or Leon Andreassen could leave Werder then
- Rumours say Hannover, Frankfurt and Hertha are interested in Andreassen
- Klaus Allofs keep cool in his holidays
"We have no pressure, we have a good team.
But let´s see, if we get active on the transfermarket."

I predict you'll get rid of Klose very soon for a transfer fee of € 13 million...
Btw: Can you give me some infos about your U23 player Sebastian Schachten? Is he really a midfielder with a height of 1.90m? Seems to be a sort of player like Simon Rolfes...

10 million + Diarra would be a ********ing ace move by Werder....Really can't see anything wrong with that.
And I would mind if Hertha got Andreasen...too bad he doesn't want to stay at Werder, I think he would have had a future there if not for his distaste of Werder now...

Hi guys,
Been reading the threads here and I must say, there really is a lot of controversy surrounding Miro. In my opinion, and following a looooooong history of being on the Werder Bremen forums, there are 2 things that have caused this whole mess:
1. Miro's manager. At the beginning of the season, he fired his well-established manager and chose to let his friend manage him instead. Mind you, his friend has no real experience in this field, which makes him very, very easy to manipulate by the people in point 2.
2. Bayern. Specifically, their back-door policy of secret meetings, etc. The Bremen fans really supported Miro even in his hard times, and only started calling for his immediate departure from the club after the "double betrayal" in the meeting with Bayern and his swan-dive in the UEFA cup (gee, what a coincidence... 2 days after the meeting with Munich). Add to this Miro's "I will only go abroad after Bremen" pledge and you get a mess.
As for the "personal problems" rumors: Thoroughly unfounded. Pure rubbish, and post likely the idle musings of very very disappointed fans looking for some possible explanation for Miro's betrayal.
In many ways, it almost reads like Munich was deliberately poisoning Miro's image with the Bremen fans, constantly adding fuel to the fire so that they can come in and "save" him from the "evil" Bremen fans. It's a 3rd-rate soap opera and there really should be some action taken against Bayern.

it actually wouldn't surprise me if Miro "miraculously" finds his old form after joining Bayern.

No he's more of a defensive-minded winger. At Werder U23 he mostly played right midfielder or right back. Very talented player but has some weaknesses as well. Could easily fit in the 2. Bundesliga though.

I agree, but in the past, Bayern has been caught red-handed tampering with players contracted to their clubs for more than one following year, illegally extorting money from the league's TV contract holders and paying players under the table not to re-sign with their clubs and moving to Bayern on free transfers.
After all this, next to nothing has ever happened to FC BayScum.
Why would the league start now?
