Norways brother is a judge and he said there is no way we could now be relegated. Which is very much as i see it although i am not a legal expert.
We were tried, pleaded guilty and fined. Tevez was never ineligable although we committed a 3rd party registration offence. Eggy would have an absolute field day if anyone tried to change the verdict. You could cancel next seasons kick off in August.
If Wigan had gone down and lets face Sheff Untd should have beaten them last game. Wigan would be trying it on, instead of bringing down 4 coach loads to march on parliment. Wigan would be bringing a mini bus load down for the march.
There was no precedent to our case. The only sort of comparison was Spuds being deducted 12 points. They then appealed as the club had changed hands and were given the points back.

To avoid being physically attacked by angry west ham fans, sheffield are now hoping the prem will allow 21 teams. How could this work? It's an un-even number. I hope they are told to go to the championship, and I hope they stay there for 3 seasons at least after all they have done to us. Fulham and Wigan can go with them

It was third party ownership mate. If I understand this correctly the registration takes place between us and the PL. I am not trying to pick the nuts out of this, it's just that the devil is in the detail with these things and making the distinction between registration and ownership highlights just why we have such a strong case IMV.
The only way I can see that the ownership contracts could have impacted (past tense!!) on Tevez's registration is if MSI had demanded that he moved clubs. MSI would then being using their illegal influence in a way which impacts on his registration as he would have his registration terminated with us and renewed with the new club (if they were in the PL).
But the fact remains they didn't. This adds more weight to the arguement that although MSI illegally had the ability to influence the clubs policies and performances, they never wielded that ability. Therefore the punishment should be lighter and a points deduction would not be appropriate as the rules we broke never altered the outcome of any matches played.
As for the 21 teams in the PL idea, McCabe has nicked that one straight from Whelan's Gold plated glass cabinet of bad ideas. Apparently Whelan tried this when his rugby club were facing relegation. So surely the PL and everyone involved will look at this and see Whelan and McCabe for the couple of greedy scammers that they are and send them off to the small claims court.
Great news about Parker though. Glad we got him for £7m and not the reported £8.5m.
