LOL....ah, the optimism & hope of youth, not yet crushed by the realities of the real world. Who knows either way I'm excited, win lose or draw I can't wait to see us play.
Marcelo Martins (Cruzeiro) wants to play for Bolivia & is hoping to get called up for the Copa team.

“Voy a esperar. La decisión la tiene el entrenador”
There's no way Sanchez calls this kid up. Too bad, he's got some raw talent but he's already played 2 tournaments for Brazil U-18, U-20. The fact that he was hoping to play for Brazils NT instead of ours doesn't sit well with me (eventhough I think it was more his dad) He could have shown his skills at the U-20 Sudamericana and possibly at the CopaAmerica. Oh well bad decisions all around.

Traditionally, we out play the Uruguayens; though they beat us. If we stay organized, we may have a chance with them. They Love to counter, and we've been playing teams that play a similar style as they do. I like our chances. They have the better players, but they have a history of just not reading each other.
Peru has a strong team. Their defense and New coach may be the downfall for them.
I believe we have a better team then Venezuela. The only issue (as always) we have is speed. Against Ven, I don't think we need to worry about it as much. A strong crowd though will keep them motivated toward the later stretch of the game. We need to score on them early to take the crowd out of the game. If we don't score by half time, the game will likely end up in their favor.
I'm confident Bolivia will put out a good showing. We are soo much better then where FIFA has us ranked.

It's not out of the realm of possibility to qualify. I'm just waiting for the CONMEBOL / FIFA meeting in Paraguay to see if we're EVEN playing in Copa America.

Ok guys in Here is the supposed roster of players called up to practice for bolivia and for teh copa america:
