Before "BigClownBot" throws in an article on the return leg of the Libertadores '07 semifinals ... lets start this thread.
Lets just say for now that Caranta will most probably be back for this game. While we wait for news from the Penta-campeones camp regarding the line-up, would be interesting to know what would be your ideal line-up for the most important game this semester so far?
Use Maidana in the back? Neri or Datolo? Battaglia or Banega?

Well ... this is my ideal starting 11 for this game:
Caranta
Ibarra - Cata - Morel - Clemente
Ledesma - Battaglia - Marino
Roman
Palacio - Palermo
If it ain't Marino starting, start Neri, BUT have Marino on the bench.
Still can't believe that Russo has not used Marino yet ... nor placed him on the bench. If Datolo is going to constantly merge towards the center, and look to find Roman, then you NEED Marino in that role.

Boca will aparently come out with the same team that lost in Colombia:
Caranta; Hugo Ibarra, Daniel Díaz, Claudio Morel Rodríguez, Clemente Rodríguez; Pablo Ledesma, Ever Banega, Neri Cardozo; Juan Román Riquelme; Rodrigo Palacio y Martín Palermo
I hope Russo knows what he's doing. We really need this win. To come so close in both tournaments and not win either would be a shame.
And especially considering the contributions of Riquelme, it would be a damn shame if we cannot win a title this semester. It's going to be tough, Cucuta is no fluke. But I believe Boca can do it.
Aguante Boca!!!

What channels will show the game?
In the US West Coast you can watch it at 3:30 PM today on Fox Sports Espanol.
This is huge, having to win 2-0 or else minimum 4-1 against a team that has a relatively weak defense but can score on you anytime. Boca is going to have to step up.
I believe they can do it!

How about that young striker Mouche?
I thought Boca still has a contract on him.

Good Lord, that free kick goal by Riquelme was like great art in motion.

I think if Boca qualify today, you can almost say they've won their 6th Libertadores. Gremio lost 3-1 to Santos yesterday (3-3 global score), but ended up qualifying due to away goal. They are the first finalists, but I don't see them as thaaat great of a team. I'm pretty sure Boca can get through them without too many difficulties. Hopefully they don't have to face each other in the first place, though, and we see a Cucuta-Gremio match. :)

If Boca get past this you can already put Riquelme in the short list for South American player of the year.

can't wait to check out the goal later on, at work now. Was there a penalty by Pajoy eariler in the half? Was it a real penalty or a dive..

Neither. Shoulder against shoulder IMO.
