I was reading on one of the US soccer pages where the following teams will be playing games in your area around the third week of July:
Club America
Boca Juniors
Cruz Azul
Deportivo Cali
Alianza Lima
Caracas FC
It said it somewhere on the games it was called Copa Direct TV, but am not sure if that is what this series of games will be called.
At least you get a few games this summer to watch some live futbol ..

These games are not on being listed as "upcoming events" at the University of Phoenix Stadium website.... Sounds like a nice lists of games, though. Hope it happends, but I can't find any info about it anywhere else.

Yeah I found them using that site. Looks like some mini tournament. All games listed to be played at Univ. of Phoenix Stadium

teams in a three (3) doubleheader,

2007 COPA PANAMERICANA TOURNAMENT:
International soccer will once again be played at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. The 2007 Copa PanAmerica will be held this month and will feature some of the finest club teams from Central and South America.
MLS Phoenix Rising is working on a Group Tickets and a Pre-Game Party for the games on:
