I don't know if anyone on this board is into MMA or how many people here are from Manchester, but just a month ago there was a big UFC event in Manchester where the excellent Michael Bisping fought and won.

I'm posting this as I'm petitioning for an MMA board on the other sports section of BS. Here's a link to anyone interested to post their support, comments, ideas, etc.

Of all my friends, I was the only one to pick Jackson over Liddell. Won me a lot of money. :)

I've been into mixed martial arts for a decent amount of time, four years maybe, although I mainly got into it as my aggression began to rise a little high for boxing. Some of my favorites are Rampage (for a while now, not because he "upset" Liddell), Ortiz, Parisyan, Hughes, Okami, Griffin and Couture. Among my least favorites are Jardine (haha, Houston Alexander), Sylvia, and Leben (everyone seems to love him, like Liddell).
