I don't speak great Spanish and am watching on Telemundo, but why exactly are the two teams going at each other? Is the Mexican squad pissed they lost (a la the many games vs. the US??)
The goalie hit cuahtemoc in the back of the head with the ball thats why they are mad. I wouldnt even get mad over a loss like this, meaningless game where clearly the players would rather be somewhere else.

Paraguay's goalkeeper tossed the ball after the whistle blew and it hit Blanco in the head. Blanco did not take that too well. :)

Pipino with the assist. :D The irony, he cant assist for shit with America but he does it here.
I hope we keep him hehehe.
Nice job hugo, starting the choke trio, especially Bofo, we wasted 45 mins.

The Paraguayan keeper threw the ball at Blanco at the end of the game and hit him on the head.

haha true that... let's all blame it on them... cause it was just 3 of them playing.. yep...''
and Nery I only seen him once since he came once or twice...
Medina was much better 2nd half, don't know why Hugo took him out, Bravo hit that post and was a constant threat... Bofo ouch he was better than against Iran but he still sucked today... Oswaldo nothing he could do on the goal...

not gonna lie. chivas r my team, but I havent seen ne good from playing bofo bravo n medina all at once. hate to say this part, oswaldo is one of my fav players, but i would agree with Hugo if he starts Ochoa for the copas.

hugo loses in his debut as coach.
hugo loses in his debut at azteca.
we'll see how the media takes this, along with some members here on BS.
once we win copa oro, most people will forget about this.
i think hugo is obligated to win at least one tournament this summer, if not he'sll probably be gone.

I see...I guess that warrants a scuffle. Blanco had a few good free kicks today. I'm excited to see him suit up in a Fire jersey!!

For there only being three guys playing, I'd say we did fairly well.

Ya me voy porque esto ya va a explotar, I'll see you guys later imma go play FFXII.
Neta guey I was just thinking that. Kinda off topic, but what level are you at?
Also, Blanco did in 10 minutes what Bautista couldn't do in 45.

Medina played better in the second half than Guardado, and he didn't even play the whole half. I think Guardado is watching too much Criss Angel because he just keeps dissapearing during games. Bravo and Nery didn't get enough balls either, cuauhtemoc just kept passing the ball to the wings.

this was a tactical game from the beggining... typical paraguayan tactics of always contesting every ball.... Hugo sanchez honestly really lost the tactical game.... put kikin in for medina? wtf... Hugo sanchez got outplayed and outsmarted.... paraguay deserves this win cuz they played with hugo sanchez head... hugo lost focus by focusing on the ref and not the game(i'e' always checking his watch for lost time, like it will do anything..) VIVA MEXICO!... VIVA!

Wow, so many emotionally-riled up fans, little rational analysis.
1. Mexico did not play Horrible as many of you say, the fact they faced a team that is deffensive and good at destroying opponent's gameplay had an influence, but have you forgotten the post balls and those triangulations with cuauh/guardado/nery? There were some interesting combinations and it's a shame nobody is noticing them.
2. it will be good for Hugo to lose and learn from his mistakes. he is stil finding the players that fit into his vision, and the moves he needs to reach it. Paraguay, regardless of the coach, plays the same football: strong deffense and efficient, but few, counterstrikes
3. Once again, los villamelones make their presence in the Azteca, first shouting Hugo's name during lavolpes Era and then stabbing him in the back today after a loss that could prove very useful.
4. Quit your whinning that the team has an intelligent coach and talented players and will recover from this one lesson

Pinche Hugo, hijo de ********, why the ******** are we playing with two contenciones in front of our line of four. This just as bad as LaVolpe playing with 3 contenciones and a line of 3.
And why does he keep on insisting on putting Nery as our center foward when its CLEARLY not the position he plays.
And Paraguay ********ing sucked, they had one shot on goal and made it. They beat us like the US always beats us. We waste the whole first half, as the second half progresses we start getting more and more offensive, finally, when we are going all out, they score on a counter. Yes we were really close to scoring on some occasions, but when you are close every single ********ing time (Bravo) it gets really old.
This is the EXACT same game that we played against the US. In both this one and the US one, we played the first half very defensively and terrified to give up a goal. In the 3 games in the middle, we went all out in the beginning.
This kind of stupidity better not be a trend.

Well I personally liked what I saw from Mexico, I just didn't like what I saw from Oswaldo Sanchez. I just thought he wasn't in it today.
Mexico showed some real potential, but they still need to work out some quirks.
What really needs to be fixed tho is the fan support, I WAS PISSED OFF AT THE FANS BOOING MEXICO.
WHAT THE HECK.
Support your team.
I just don't like that people turned on their own team, they displayed good football except for the last goal, which was a screwup. They will do better, the gold cup will prepare them for the COPA AMERICA.
SIEMPRE ELTRI!!!

omar hit the post from the small box... and he made one of the dumbest runs i have ever seen, anywhere. i agree with you about oswaldo, though, the goal wasn't his fault.
