this was true! The Sunday Mirror (which we all know is an unquestionable source) says that the Hammers 'want Andy Johnson and David Arteta from Everton in a 30 million pound swoop'!!!!!!!!!!
Can you imagine Ashton and Johnson up front, with Yossi and Arteta supplying the passes? Dream on!!!!!!!!!!

Andy Johnson is a good player but I have never seen him as West Ham material. He seems to fit the mould at Everton and I think they haven't seen the best of him yet.

The only thing that makes me think there may be some truth in this rumour is that AC may be trying to land a good striker before Tevez's future is decided. That way he is more likely to come to us thinking he will get a game and also Kia will not have us over a barrell when agreeing a price tag for Tevez.

Also the rumour seems to change between Arteta and Cahill. I would have either of these two.
