McCabe needs to just shut up and face the fact that Sheffield is staying down for at least a season. This is just embarassing them more and more the longer he keeps on with it.

tevez isnt the reason they completely collapsed in the 2nd half of the season.
Tevez isnt the reason they lost 3-0 at aston villa and put themselves in a position where wigan only needed a 1 goal win.
are they gonna sue liverpool and man utd for picking understrength teams in key matches??
they are desperate .

There is nothing, that is NOTHING they can do. They, along with all other premiership clubs, approved the investigating panel. An independant panel, I might add. There was nothing wrong with the panels selection and the punishment was set within the bounds of those laid down by the PL.
My brother is a judge and he said...''They haven't a chance in hell of getting it overturned; nor of returning to the PL'' I'll just have to take his word for it, because he is very seldom wrong when it comes to matters of litigation. :D

But why has the pl agreed review panel to review the original agreed panels view and judgement? The whole thing seems nonsensical to me

They have no choice Stomps. It's in the PL constitution. All PL clubs have a right to go to arbitration. They did tell Sheffield that they were wasting their time and money, but it's their right.

West Ham should demand an Independent Review Tribunal review the Review Panels review of the Independent Tribunal.

:D
While they're at it, maybe they can have a panel review the ruling made by the panel that ruled on who was in the panel that rules on the panel that made up the rules of the panel?

My dad says they are alowing the whole arbitrition to humor them. They will follow the laws of the prem, then say they cannot over turn a previous decision. Then Sheffield scum will try multiple other things to get back in the prem, and the prem will envoke the right to remove them from FIFA altogether for breaking ANOTHER law by taking legal action against another club (us) so it's a win-win for us, and a lose-MEGA lose for them. They will either get nothing, or lose everything. Basically they lose the case, then they try to do anything eles, and they are going to conference and all their players go on the free market. And the sheffield board wont be very popular with the fans for making THAT happen LOL

Well he's yet to be wrong. He said Whelan would back off if they stayed up, and he did. He said the prem would allow the arbritrition to take place to shut up sheffield, and they did. I think he will be right about this as well.

Let's not be naive though about Sheff Utd's real reasons for pursuing this. McCabe claims that his goal is to be reinstated into the PL, but even he knows fine well that this will never happen. He has been advised by his lawyers and legal personnel so he obviously has an alterior motive.
As one Sheff Utd fan posted recently he has to keep his shareholders happy. If he manages to claim some compensation from his persistance then this will sweeten them a bit and this seems more likely to happen than reinstatement.
Even that is a long shot though and I for one would love so see him lose money from his actions and make his own situation even worse. This is no way for a club chairman to behave and it doesn't help the game at all. Which is ironic when we consider his initial arguement was based around integrity and fairness within the world of football. If he really cared about these things he would have pursued this alot differently.

Good grief, Mr Bean leading his relegation delegation to Parliament, this is getting beyond ridiculous
Actor and Sheffield United fan Sean Bean will lead a delegation to Parliament on 13 June - five days before the arbitration looks at the Blades' claim.

Taylor speaking a bit previous I think. Isnt there some kind of rule about commenting on cases under review? If not there bloody should be!

Stomper, I believe it's called Sub Judice. But I am no expert on the matter.

Sheffield United will turn to the European Commission for compensation if an independent arbitration panel fails to over-turn their relegation.
So our suspicions are finally proved correct. All they care about is the money.
I think they have tried all ways to bore people into ignoring them so that they can shamelessly claim some compensation unnoticed.
Frankly I am sick of hearing them bleat on about how aggrieved they are by stating false accusations and innaccurate claims of inelligibility. The claim of endless support for their cause has to be the funniest. Sean Bean reckons everyone he has spoken to shares their views!! A bold claim when we consider the only Sheff Utd fan that has posted replies on any of the boards I frequent was not fully supporting the campaign and agreed that it was just about keeping the shareholders happy.
Time they all gave it a rest I think.

Yeah, but it cant be subjudice if its not judicial. Its just a private agreement in a private club.Sheffield agreed to the rules of the club, but dont like it when the rules hurt them.
Stiff shit. They aint got a leg to stand on, nor a foot tro be hopping mad on. The whole thing is nonsenceTime they all gave it a rest I think.
