Blind children must make it.
Thats awful.

Awful. It looks like it has a white bib.

It is made by Marathon, a company from Ecuador (they also outfit the ecuatorian national team). The Bolivian Soccer Federation ended the agreement with Atletica of Mexico in favor of this new company. I smell a "negociado".

Unfortunately, I now own one....:D

These 3 were my favorites, when they were sponsored once by a GOOD brand.

I couldn't agree more, Caturro. The quality is also sub-par, as I have a replica I paid $75 for.
I got a chance to see the players at the hotel before the Ireland game. They were wearing their uniform (polo shirt, sweatpants) and it was awful. The quality looked like those you get from the Korean tiendas in La Sagarnaga.

There is a bolivian company called GAV Sports. They outfit Strongest, Oriente, and a few others. Their quality is far superior to the jerseys made by Marathon. If the FBF is not going to attract the big companies (Nike, Adidas, Umbro, Diadora, etc.), they should at least promote bolivian manufacturers!

Absolutely agree. My GAV Sports The Strongest jersey is quality. I get comments on it everytime I wear it. I swear the FBF couldn't screw up more if they tried. Everything they touch turns to caca.

LOL that's the first thing i thought of when i say this jersey. It does look like it has a bib. It would be much better if it was more plain, but this one is plainly awfull.

Good point about promoting Bolivian manufaturers if the big ones arent bitting.

When Bolivia starts to do well again (this copa america of crouse) i hope they get a nice deal with a good name. Does anyone know how long they have with this new brand? It really is awfull

Not a chance, sorry everyone is stuck with this horrid Visual Graphics101 class project. The contract runs until 2010, past the WC should we happen to qualify.

I definitely think the FBF should have gone with a national brand. This design is pathetic, and are we ever gonna get a nice 3rd kit? If I have some time I'll slap some ideas together on photoshop.

didn't know GAV Sports was bolivian, maybe because i'm not over there, but i heard about it. You are right the FBF should've chosen a national manufacturer like this one before going with an Ecuatorian one, that is a real shame, and it shows us that we Bolivians need to put our country first.

The only good thing is that i wouldn't mind the shirt design if Erwins 11 chosen player keep performing nicely just as they did against Ireland

lest hope that the victory against Sud Africa and the draw against Ireland are real signs that our futbol is developing

may Bolivia qualify in its group

HAHA! My mom couldn't stop complaining about the Jersey. I don't think it's horrible, but it's far from my first choice.

I always thought that a florecent green would be nice. There seems to be a correlation with winning and bright Jerseys. I know DC United is a bad example, as they wear black, but I'm talking about an "on average" basis.

Like they say here:
La misma chola con pollera nueva.

I hate it...what an awful way to force the flag into the design. Marathon is truly lacking any decent design ideas.

It's a 1000 times better than that monstrosity they wore against Ireland. Still, it should go to a Bolivian company. The FBF could mess up a salteņa

It sucks, but I'm sure i'll probably end up buying one:o

Aqui esta un corto video de la presentacion.

Having just done a search for boliviamall, trading as www.boliviamall.com (http://www.boliviamall.com/) i feel that any people thinking of buying from them should read the following. I do have ALL emails (and headers) and six photo's of the shirt in question.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently had the misfortune to do business with www.boliviamall.com (http://www.boliviamall.com/) an online store that sells amongst other item, soccer shirts. I tried to buy a jersey from The Strongest soccer club and some other items. After many phone calls and emails i finally received a package from La Paz Bolivia .

Inside was a jersey reportedly from The Strongest. This jersey had many faults. It was the wrong size, was not as advertised, nor the shirt shown on their website which was the one promised to me in a phone call, was made by a different manufacturer, damaged with black pen marks and had taken a month to arrive.

After calling the company and trying to resolve the issue i emailed both The Strongest and the manafacturer GAV Sports. GAV Sports replied with the following email Re: Can You tell me if this jersey is a fake.

and here is what a Spanish to English translation told me the email said.
Thanks for the mail, the undershirt of the photos is not an original product of GAV SPORTS is a copy. As Business we can send you an original one, the price is of $us. 30.- here in Bolivia with no shipping cost. Upon being the business auspiciadora of the club we have all the official products of the Club. Atte.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now with this information, i am concerned that mine may not be an isolated case and that they may be selling more soccer shirts that are fake. Especially as they introduce their shirts as "We offer you the official and original soccer jersey of....."

Looking at their website they currently are advertising shirts from the Bolivian National Team, Bolivar, Aurora , Guibara, Real Santa Cruz, Blooming, San Jose , Oriente Petrolero, Universitario and Wilsterman.

So on their website they have products from both the Bolivia National Team and various Bolivan Club Teams and it is in my opinion a genuine concern that they could be selling more fake merchandise and therefore denying clubs much needed revenue as well as infringing on any copyrights.
