Texas junior defensive end Henry Melton was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Friday.
In the arrest report, officer Steven Martinez said Melton failed a field sobriety test, smelled strongly of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes, staggered, used profanity and was insulting during his interview.
Melton also told the officer he had nothing to drink, Martinez reported.
Melton was charged with DWI and taken to the Travis County Jail. He was released at 8:15 a.m. after posting a $1,500 personal recognizance bond, according to jail records.

Glad you enjoyed it, hope to see ya again.
I give a fcuk because I had to deal with endless crap for a couple of players on my team doing something relatively harmless in taking some money from a car dealership and subsequently getting kicked off the team, while Texas players are driving drunk and robbing cars and no one hears anything.
University of Texas, the NCAA's response to the Cincinnati Bengals.

I know what you say is true. Don't let your life revolve around dealing with crap. If you care to hear it, I'll give you my own experience at that. I was on a team, too, as in a player, yes, both footballs, in D-1A, Pac-10. (Bet you couldnt tell by seeing my fat ass now!)
OU is good, I'm from TX, so I give OU sh!t. Live with that, I will never NOT give OU crap. That's what makes life fun. I give MEX the same kind of crap.
You'll see me again. I really liked it. May I respectfully "beg off" and sit with the crowd that roots for FCD and also watches the game? (A regrettable thought from being in S116, but it seems like some folks are more into leading cheers than following the club.)

I'm from Dallas born and bred so I have no problem with people giving me crap for going to OU. That being said, I'll dish it right back at you especially when your players get arrested.
We've got a group of Inferno/FCD fans in section 108 who are passionate about the game and the team but prefer to sit and watch it rather than stand and be crazy, that might be the best place for you.

A. You are allowed to give me crap whenever you want since I have a UT degree. That's what makes rivalries fun. BTW, I'm from Dallas born and bred, too. (Highland Park)
B. Maybe so, I just hope to retain the respect of the "crazy" fans, since I am no less "crazy", just prefer a different "way" to watching the match.
Is that OK?

*shudders* the Park Cities are not Dallas. they're not anything, they're "the bubble." that's worse than living in Frisco. and I lived in University Park for 3 months after graduating, so no I'm not being envious.

Oklahoma will take a while to get over the Rhett Bomar cancer. He and his dad need jail time. I'm embarassed Jerry went to Tech. Stoops hated Rhett and was given a gift when that jackass took $ from BigRed just like every other kid on the team. I knew they were bad news when my hometown boy, Graham Harrell, was lighting up the record books and that ahole Jerry Bomar would tell the DMN that his son would have better numbers than Graham if Rhett had a better team around him. Jerry was the freaking head coach. What an ahole.
