Ok, let's have a new thread for the season 2007/2008.
Leavings so far: Keller, Jansen, El Fakiri, Delura & Kluge. Who will follow?
Confirmed transfers for the new season: Gospodarek (goalie) & Voigt (defence/LB).
Who will be the next player(s) to come to Borussia-Park for the 2nd league?
Roel Brouwers (Paderborn) and Sharbel Touma (Twente Enschede) are dark horses at the moment.

Rumors have it that Keller will go to Real Salt Lake of US league MLS.

Didn't he say that the MLS offers aren't good enough?

Rumors are that he is in serious negotiations, last I heard, with RSL. I know from talking with Sigi that he would have been way too expensive for Columbus. Note that RSL recently dumped Jeff Cunningham's salary by trading him to Toronto FC, which could free up cap space for Keller. I'll have to check the RSL forums for any updates, though.

It won't be easy ... but a true Borusse never loses the faith in his club!

nice videos man, especially the first one
I'll try to tell wynton rufer what you said :)
It's a strange situation here though. He was voted the greatest ever oceanian player, and he became famous playing for werder bremen, yet I am sure that 99% of people here don't know the name of that club.

According to Steven Goff of the Washington Post, RSL just doesn't enough money for Keller, so the deal probably won't happen. Goff is usually a pretty reliable source:

Maybe M'Gladbach is waiting on the "right" signings, so that they can develop some good team chemistry. It would be a shame to lurk in the 2nd division when they have such fabulous fans and an awesome stadium.

Note that Borussia's home page noted that Sverkos' loan is done and he is still under contract. However, Ziege said basically that they are not sure how he would fit in, even though he is a loyal and hardworking player-a true Borusse. So he might not be back
I wonder why Marko Marin still isn't signed?!

I wonder as well. Really hope he'll stay with us...
Btw: Tell Howie to sign Sonck, Thijs and Degen:-)

It seems to be official now that Sverki won't come back to MG. Really pity for the guy.
I'd have given him a last chance in the 2nd league ... but we have to respect the club's decision.
