Now we need 2 decent strikers, then we should have a good squad for next season.

Let's hope that is a good omen.

I personally don't pay much attention to pre-saison friendlies. A victory against a champion isn't bad though...;)
If Ziege manages to sign 2 good strikers now (and I'm pretty sure he will continue the good job), we'll have a decent team for the promotion battle in my eyes.

Me too, say how often the Ligapokal champion became BL champion.
They are goo to integrate new players, test some formation
and give self-confidence, but that´s it (IMHO).

no one really does...at least the sane fans don't. But a good omen is a ...good omen. :D
Anybody in particular that Ziege has an eye on?

Ok, you are right. ;)

There are diverse rumours ... but I'm sure it will be another suprise, since all players he signed until now were kept secret.
Let's wait up. I still hope we'll get Huysegems from Feyenoord...

maybe this relegation is the chance for gladbach to uncover another netzer, vogts, bonhof, heynckes etc, all from the town itself :)

Yeah, I put all my hopes in Marko Marin now! ;)
I'd say that this relegation is the chance for a clean-up and comeback after the megalomania which started with our move to Borussia-Park and the signing of Dick Advocaat...
