I read that Colautti has apparently started training again, when do you think he will be called up to play? Was he bought to be a regular starter or more of a sub?

Hard to say. I'm still hoping to see him in Fürth for a few minutes next Friday or at least in Munich against Bayern (Cup game) 4 days later.
However, there are also rumours that he won't get fit this year...
Let's wait up.
Was he bought to be a regular starter or more of a sub?
Definitely as a regular starter together with Neuville! Unfortunately he got injured ... and the Canadian striker Rob Friend took his chance and played superbly lately! With Rafael & Touma we have two more decent strikers, so Roberto surely will need some patience after his injury.

One more bad news (after Rafael & Neuville) before the derby! :(

Coulibaly & Gohouri were caught in a Cologne disco last Saturday night and got suspended for the derby! Simply incredible this behaviour of the 2 players!
Now we have to replace the CB Gohouri by Pauuwe, what means that Polanski or Svard will play on the "6"...

Finally a good message from Borussia-Park: Oliver Neuville is able to start! :)

I guess a draw is better than a loss, but this is a better result for koln rather than gladbach spcially playin at home! Wish we had kept our momentum:o

Don't think so, since Christoph Daum wanted to win this game (they needed the 3 points more than us) and cause we managed to come back after a shocking 1:2 lag. We are still on top and 6 points ahead of Köln...
What a poor 1st half (we didn't risk much upfront, as we feared Köln's counter attacks) ... but after the interval we finally throw away all tactics and started to play the football of the last weeks! Unfortunately we made 2 lethal mistakes immediately after Neuville's 1:0 lead (still can't believe how we could concede such a counter attack goal in numerical superiority), so we have to be happy that we managed to score the 2:2 equalizer just 2 minutes later. Well, we totally dominated the last 20 minutes ... but we simply weren't clever enough in order to win the game in the end (especially Oliver Neuville after a sensational pass from Alex Voigt)! It could have come worse after the silly 1:2, so I'm contented with the draw.
What I don't understand is why Luhu didn't bring in Touma after the 2:2, since Rösler, Marin & Neuville were pretty exhausted! But ok, I won't complain...
"Man of the match" was Philip Daems in my eyes, who surprisingly played CB for Gohouri (I didn't know that he would be able to play this position as a LB) and did not only score the important 2:2 but was also superb in the defence! Alex Voigt, Tobias Levels and Marko Marin with decent performances, too! Marin was hardly to stop by the Köln defence, unfortunately he's lacking some cleverness in many moments.

How did Rob Friend play?
He didn't play as well as he did in the last weeks (it seemed to me that his Canadian fellow country man McKenna knew all about his strength & weak points) ... at least he had a good scoring opportunity (header), though.

Me or the UMG? :p
I personally don't have such intensive rivalry feelings towards Köln (I simply dislike those boring "Cologne, Cologne, die Scheiße vom Dom" chants from the Ultras and our stupid "Stadionsprecher"). Maybe it's due to the fact that I'm not from the Rheinland area (I've got only a few relatives there).
Btw: Here another video clip and a Sascha Rösler inteview with all 4 goals in the background.

Rhineland derby ends level at 2-2
After taking a second-half lead against Cologne, Borussia conceded two quick goals before recovering to make it 2-2. And that's the way it stayed until the end.

Away run set to continue?
As expected, Steve Gohouri and Soumaila Coulibaly have been named in the squad for tomorrow's trip to Greuther Fürth after their recent disciplinary lapse.

Borussia never lost in 5 games against Fürth, but also never managed to win at Playmobil stadium (except for a Cup match in 1983): 1:1 in 2000 and 2:2 in 2001.
I think we'll have a sold-out stadium (15,000) tonight and hope for a great & fair game. How mentioned above, a 3:3 draw would be ok for me. ;)
PS: Roberto Colautti made the trip to Fürth and might come in after the interval. It also seems that Marko Marin will get replaced by Van den Bergh. The question is whether Filip Daems will play CB again (after his great performance in the derby) or Steve Gohouri will have his comeback ... since Fürth's striker Maierhofer is the tallest league player (2.03 m).

Let's see the "HERO FROM FÜRTH"! :)
http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/3530/img7335sg1.jpg
Take a look what happened after the game:
ROB STARTING THE HUMBA (http://www.grauhaardackel.de/)
It was the best performance of a Borussia striker I've seen during the last years (not only due to the fact that he scored a hattrick)! The "Kicker" rated him with a 1 (the best possible rating)...
Btw: After the game I had a small talk with his parents in front of the VIP area (without firstly knowing who they were). It seems they are on a Germany trip at the moment...
