Boy 4 wins in A-ROW..cant remember when was the last time is saw that!
I think it was in 2001.;)
Another impressive away performance from our team at Millerntor! WE AREN'T THE "AUSWÄRTSDEPPEN" ANYMORE!!!
St. Pauli didn't have a chance from the beginning of the game ... although we started to score the goals only after their player was sent off. Rob Friend scored again and played well, but was replaced after the interval because of the danger to be send off with yellow/red. Rafael came in - and immediately scored the decisive 2:0 after a great pass from Oliver Neuville! The best player on the pitch was Marcel Ndjeng once again, though! Steve Gohouri played superbly as well.
Kudos to Jos Luhukay and the whole team! Can't remember one single game in the past when the famous "Millerntor" stadium had been so quiet. :-)
Now we should be well-prepared and top-motivated for the derby against Alemannia Aachen on Friday in an almost sold-out Borussia-Park (47,000 tickets are already sold).

3-0 win at St Pauli
The Hamburg side contributed to their own downfall by getting a man sent off after 34 minutes. Borussia exploited the advantage in merciless fashion, thanks to goals from Rob Friend, Nando Rafael and Sascha Rösler.

Nice to see that BMG is getting their act together...Really surprised me when they got relegated.
A club the size of BMG (Or Köln, Düsseldorf, Lautern, TSV etc) got no excuses for playing in the "Zweite".

Are you proposing a non-relegation system like in the USA where all of the "big" teams stay in the top league forever? Because that is what it sounds like. By the way, Düsseldorf is in the "Dritte."

A no relegation system?...Absurd idea, any team in 2-Buli that operates with a budget bigger than several 1-Buli clubs simply doesn´t have any excuses for playing in a lower division....I´m no believer in "parity" or static leagues.
Without the pain no pleasure...

then you should celebrate the fact that teams earn first division status on merit and not on birth right and leave it at that.

There is no birthright in German football, otherwise Victoria Berlin and Pforzheim would dominate the league..
Leave it at that?...You are the one that have got stuck on a loop I think :D
Of course no BMG or say Köln fan is happy about the situation BECAUSE they know that they are underperforming something dreadful when they play in the 2.Buli..
What club do you support yourself?

Of course they are not happy about being in the 2. Bundesliga, but many of the complaints are not that introspective. Fans of under performing so-called big teams (and even fans of other big teams) tend to criticize teams like Wolfsburg, Cottbus, Mainz, Hoffenheim or Wehen for not belonging. So, my non-relegation comment was sarcastically directed at them. If I grouped you incorrectly with them I apologize. I am a Freiburg fan.

Indeed! What a sensational goal from our Canadian Friend! I didn't expect him to have such amazing technical skills as well (he's reminding me a little bit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic).
The best player on the pitch was once again "Fußballgott" Marcel Ndjeng who scored his 1st goal in the Borussia dress, after preparing almost all goals until now. Marko Marin was superb as well, but still has to learn some things.
Great first half performance in the derby, it should have been a higher lead after 45 minutes! We also dominated the first 15 minutes after the interval with lots of good scoring opportunities ... but after Aachen's surprising goal, it started to be a tough fight until the end! Nevertheless a totally deserved victory for us!
Kudos to Jos Luhukay (I'm so happy for him) and the whole team for this great September (5 wins in a row)! What a relief to see that we finally have a TEAM again! I knew we'd improve, but I didn't expect it as soon as it happened now. It seems that the embarassing Mainz loss brought the turnaround...

Well, if we use the simple method of equal money and a huge fanbase with success I´m pretty convinced that teams like say BMG or Köln will be promoted in the close future...
Teams like say Mainz needs to punch above their weight if you follow my drift...
