Nothing from the player yet, we shall see.

Hertha are looking to sign four new players. Kweku Essien has failed in his trial attempt, too bad, he looked quite good from what the papers and fans have been saying.

Saw that. I saw where Hertha agreed with Spurs. Did the player yet?

Sorry if it is old news, but I was otherwise occupied this past weekend.
I heard he just has to pass his medical now.

Neither Boateng is overrated, quite the contrary in fact, thanks to three years of Falko Goetz.

Don't be a lemming, use your brain.

I'm not sold on Lucio. Another old expensive Brazilian ? Just so Gilberto can move to central midfield, where he frankly sucked everytime he played there ? I'll pass, thank you. Mineiro wasn't exactly a success either, not to mention some earlier superstars presented by Dieter.

I've watched him play for Gremio and i think he's quite decent. If he fits in, he'll do good enough.

So, just because some others might agree that the Boateng brothers are overrated, they have to be stupid lemmings?

Please. Get over yourself.

I am liking those new jerseys.....even with the short players.

Well, I'm pretty short too, can't wait to see how it looks on me. ;) btw I think a mate of mines in Berlin says he can get me one for cheap; as I've already pre-ordered one, anyone else is interested? Any player or number, too :)

Not quite. I however have an issue with people blindly swallowing Hoeness' decoys.

The Boatengs as well as Schorch and Pantelic have been scapegoats. Not that hard to figure out. If you didn't, you qualify as a lemming. There, I said it.

Here's some advice: Ignore the tabloids, as well as anything written by Uwe Bremer. Read "Berliner Zeitung" instead.

Well, I will tell you think. I think the Boatengs are overrated. I think Pantelic deserves some of the shit he gets. Not all of it, but some, he definitely does. I don't know who Schorch is, so I have no comment there.

But for you to assume I or anyone else get our opinions from reading others, I think is pretty crappy.

These are MY OPINIONS. I don't read what Dieter Hoeness has to say. Shit, I might know more about the game than him anyhow.

I don't read anyone named Uwe Bremer. I don't know who the SOB is.

Some of us who don't feel the way you do actually form our own opinions. Don't forget that.

Too good for an b-team? - He comes from an b-team. ;)
For somebody who bring as haircutter as manager to contract negotions
this is a great chance to jump into a higher league.
You just have to look to which teams the youngsters,
that leave Real Castilla, move.
The club is a steppingstone for the Primera Division,
if you are really good.

this kid is a huge defender talent, i have seen him first when he was 16. an amazing player for his age, thats why it is a stupid move to go to the b-team of real. he could make plenty of games for herthas first team, he already made some last season. all he need is playing in a pro-league.

i dont understand this move at all, its just the money.

No, he couldn't. Not yet.
The whole reason for this fall-out was that he (or rather his girlfriend's croatian hairdresser father) demanded a loan so that he could play because it was obvious he wouldn't play much for Hertha's first team this season.

At least Hertha gets money for him, that's good for the youth academy. They are losing far too many players for free (Krcic to Valencia, Boateng to Hamburg next season, Dejagah to Wolfsburg).

B team status is pretty close to either Real Madrid, or an other Primera Division Club.If he is good, he'll get promoted like other Castilla players like Miguel Torres, Roberto Soldado and Ruben De la Red who joined the team from Castilla this season.

Cannavaro will not play forever, so if he works well, he might feature in some Cup games, and get promoted to the first team when a CB is needed the way M.Torres got promoted.

The status of many Real Madrid Castilla players is currently being considered because they are with the 'big guys' in pre season.

He made a great choice if his dream is to play in Spain.

Kevin - once he got going, laid into the Hertha management: " Young Hertha players are always blamed for everything. There has been trouble here with young players and there is more to come. The next youngster who will have problems during contract talks is Patrick Ebert. That is down to the senior management at the club. Luckily the new coach Lucien Favre is only interested in performance."

A late swipe at the former Hertha coach Falko Götz.

Well said. :)

Hertha is playing BFC Dynamo in a match against Racism tomorrow??

Ahahahahahaha. :D

Funniest thing I have read in a long time. Are BFC fans boycotting? ;)

Why would they do that? Why would they acknowledge a team that in the very recent past showed pretty openly that they won't do anything against racism, neo-nazis and hooligans?
Do they have new leadership? Do they want to change their "image"?

Ah, beautiful BFC Dynamo:
