WHAT????

His own choice?

Groin problems.

Seriously, is the Kurier any different than the BILD?
That's a stupid article.

I need to know who scored the goal for Hertha in their game away against Ac Milan in the 1999/00 season.

Thanks.

The DFB have stats on everything. They just don't like the stats in video form on youtube

Again a gift to Cottbus. :(

I don't even remember the last time we won against them.

Yea, all because we couldn't keep our defensive shape once van Bergen was off with the injury

I think if that didn't happen, the game would have been ours, but I think thats our luck against Cottbus....

More shite today. Beginning to wonder when the next win is going to be, if Pantelic is going to be out for a month as they say he will be :(

We will finish this season in no man's land anyway.

At least we lost by a good team play of Frings and Borowski. Hope they get in form again in time for the Euro.

The season is practically over for us anyways. We need to win probably just one more time to get us over the relegation spots at the end of the year. I hate that we have to play Bayern in the last game of the season at the Allianz

Man, that was awful yesterday... I didn't make it to the game just watched it in the bar. Terrible.

By the way, how does the song go that starts the game...

it goes... "nur nach Hausen". If you could provide a translation as well, that'd be excellent.

It's the unofficial Hertha Hymn "Nur nach Hause".

Well, a decent translation would be "We won't go home, ever". A list of the common Hertha fansongs can be found here: http://www.alt-herthaner.de/lieder.php. I'm too lazy to translate them all though.

Song in question:

translation of the other lines:

Everyone is waiting full of tension for the ultimate match
because the boys have only one goal
they want a win today for the blue-and-white shirt
no matter what ohoh, and no matter what ohoh ohoh

Anyway, bad run at the moment. Hertha are lucky that there are five teams performing worse. Without the good start the team would have had to battle relegation the whole season anyway. There are just not enough goals.

We can only hope that the many holes in the squad will be filled next season, some goal scoring midfielders have to be top priority. Kacar certainly has the potential to be one, but so far he's been somewhat unlucky.

I'm predicting another huge personnel change and it will remain to be seen if the then surely very young squad will adjust in time to avoid the relegation battle. I'm pretty certain at least one, maybe even two of Pantelic, Simunic and Friedrich will go to finance the new arrivals, not making it any easier.

Rebuilding the squad with longterm ambitions in mind is of course good and necessary, but the efforts are worthless if Hertha gets relegated.

Thanks for the translation...

Doesn't "nach", means after?

Hertha has looked pretty bad lately. The atmosphere was electric against Schalke though.

Translating prepositions is a dangerous game. An example is that certain verbs are associate with certain propositions. Ich glaube an ..... I believe in....

Why do we use in as the preposition for believe in English? When I say, I believe in my team, it doesn't mean I am inside the team believing something. It means you think they can do something.

Nach hause is a special case. Zu Hause means you are at home sitting around or whatever. Nach hause involves the actual movement, whether by car or foot or whatever. Ich bin zu hause, I am at home. Ich gehe nach Haus, I am going home.

I hope that makes sense. It did to me anyway.

Kacar has been amazing so far. He's living up to the hype so far, and his goal will come soon enough. It can't come soon enough either, again w/out Pante we are toothless. Lima did alright, and Raffael is trying, but the rest of the team can't do squadoosh in front of net. Okoronkwo....

We learn it from the moment of our birth...

I think Hertha has actually got a really good squad and should be able to compete for the UI or UEFA Cup with it. Berlin should actually be the team that forces Bayern the most.

I hope you`ll do better next season! Get rid of that manager btw... :)

Why is that?? Why shouldn't it be Dortmund, Schalke, Bremen or Hamburg?

Because they are the club from the capital??

Send him Dortmund's way, please! LOL!! ;)
