Schalke - Hertha is a very frustrating game to watch.
Where is Pantelic when you need him?

He's got an injured leg. Lima sucks

Still got hope for an equalizer though, albeit minimal.
One bright spot is Chahed, I feel he's played a very good game today.

Hertha played well in general. After Schalke got the lead Berlin took over the game
but was just unlucky in front of goal.

His best game as a Herthaner I think, ever since the winter break, its like we've seen a completely different player  His crossing was even excellent.
Good performance today, but still shows how toothless we are in front of goal without Pante :(

We (Schalke) are not easy to break down when defending so don´t be to dismayed.

Very true, but I think TOLH is right when he calls Hertha "toothless" without Pantelic.

Well, they are toothless without Pantelic but that can be said about VfB without Gomez, BvB without Petric, H96 without Hanke etc etc..
No team can afford to rely on a single player. not for very long at least...

Not arguing that point at all. I agree with you.
Just said I thought TOLH was right about Hertha without Pantelic.
Raffael can't carry the offense alone. He needs another dangerous partner out there.
And at BVB, Petric has Frei. That is, whenever that idiot Thomas Doll lets Frei play.

Hertha are looking at that young FC Zürich players..Mohamed Chermiti, Favre might be on to something there.
Especially since there are rumours about Pantelic leaving in the summer...

We also can't afford to have option 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D etc. The fact is we have the youngest squad in the Bundesliga, and the players need to find themselves. The big worry though is that only 3 players in the squad has more than 3 goals this year. Our defense has carried us this year.

Not much difference to us then...:D
But it´s to soon to panic for Hertha, Favre seems to have a plan...unlike Slomka I might add.

I can´t understand why BvM was fired by the way...BvB actually snatched him just as we had started talking with him about coaching Schalke.
And he did ok in my view...?

My view too. I'll tell you what I was told by insiders privately if you drop me a message or take it over to the BVB forum since getting rid of Doll is a hot topic anyhow.

Set-piece ban
Kurier
It has never happened before in the Bundesliga: A trainer forbids a player of taking corners and free kicks. That is exactly what happened to the young Hertha midfielder Patrick Ebert (21).
"Yes, I told him not to take any more corners or free kicks", revealed Lucien Favre, following the 1-2 home defeat against Schalke on Sunday.
Tough to take for Ebert, who is considered to be the most skillful player in the team. He was taken off after only 68 minutes against Schalke, and after the game he would only say: "I don't want to talk about my performance today."
Favre: "Patrick does well with free kicks and corners during training, he just doesn't seem to be able to reproduce it during a game. Maybe he is just nervous." Dieter Hoeneß : "Patty sometimes puts himself under too much pressure."
Ebert missed yesterday's training session and withdrew form the Germany under-21 squad ahead of their game against Luxembourg.
