Schalke would need him so badly.

Just guessing...

Schalke and Bremen.

Those would be my guesses.......

It's a shame that we cannot keep quality players for long.

What we really need is new management. Yes, Dieter Hoeneß has his merits but there is no progress. In fact it is going backwards in the last 10 years. Now we have the "Swiss experiment".

But Favre is not the problem. The problem is Hoeneß.

Unfortunatly it is very hard to find quality management. Much harder than finding good players.

What we really need is a Allofs + Schaaf kind of leadership like they have in Bremen.

Been barking up that tree since a few years ago...lol

At least Pantelic seems to have matured...kinda like Anelka

"Kein Stürmer hat bei Hertha nach Michael Preetz so oft getroffen wie ich", sagte der 29-Jährige, betonte jedoch: "Ich bin kein Egoist, meine Tore sind nur für das Team. Die Torjägerkanone interessiert mich nicht."

Wow, what a last-second shocker from Raffael!;)

Best way to describe this game....

drei punkte is drei punkte. Boring game to watch, only player who seemed to do anything was Pantelic, but his shooting was not on today. Kacar was pretty anonymous today, didn't seem to do much and was subbed off.

Raffael seems to be the business early on, lets hope he carries on like this.

Ohohoh! De Kacar nihil nisi bene!

Can't watch this game but I think thats a good thing.

The only thing of note so far is that some people have yellow cards

Well at least the first half was not exactly boring. In the moment we are wasting chances...

Another point then

I wonder who they're going to give the MOTM for. Simunic?

Given that Schalke lost to Wolfsburg at home last weak it could have been worse for us. At least Marcelinho didn't get his payback.

Yea and they seemed to play fairly well too (looking at the kicker ratings). As long as the performance is there I'm not arsed about the result (although a few more results will get us out of the real trouble). More happy about the Wolfsburg performance than the Bielefeld one...

This 3-5-2 formation-ish formation really seems to be working defensively.

Lukasz Pisczcek has signed a new contract with Hertha, til 2010.
He was going to be out of contract in June.

More good news is that Lucio looks more and more likely to comeback for next year's training after his horror injury. Get well soon. :)

I couldn't watch the game on Friday but we got quite some praise in the Sportschau. This means we are probably in for a drubbing at Dortmund... I hope we get at least a draw.

Anyway, brilliant goal from Pante.

Hertha will exercise its option on Malik Fathi, which means he gets another year to prove himself. Chinedu Ede though is going, shame really, everytime he came on (which was few) last year, he really seemed to make a difference. New coach new system though, and he really just doesn't fit.

Srdjan Lakic, a truly forgotten man, has been in fine form for Heracles Almelo in the Dutch league. The Croatian Striker has scored. After scoring 0 goals in his first 14 games, he's scored 6 in his last 7!

WTF are you talking about? I'd be surprised if you guys don't win. We are as inconsistent as they come......

Yeah but we too until recently. We managed to lose to Frankfurt at home and to beat the VFB away.

This season we had only two away wins up to now. You lost last weekend, we won last weekend. Go figure...
