I love the stadium, although it is a multi-functional one.

Anyway, there are a lot of rumours at the moment. We will have to wait and see who will actually come to Hertha.

This story about Fejsa is really funny! First their financier or president whatever stated: We would not now sell Fejsa to Germans, not even if they offered 100 million euros. We will sell him to Serbian club if only for a copper pan of pie. Now: 180 degrees turn. It appears that Hajduk wants to sell Fejsa only to Hertha! And the funniest of all FC Metz claim that they signed contract with him a year ago, and they want to lodge a complaint with UEFA.

Hertha are trying to settle it now. Funny how the Serbian papers only just now got this, kicker has had it for almost a week now

Serbian papers are trash I think...well most are I think

Guten Tag Hertha fans,

I am joining this thread late, but looking at those stadium pictures reminds me of my days in Berlin. I was at that stadium every other Saturday. I still follow the team results on the internet, but unfortunately no TV broadcasts. Auf gehts Hertha!

For a small fee you can watch all Hertha Bundesliga matches and some additional stuff on www.herthatv.de just after the final whistle in decent quality. Need a high speed internet connection tho.

Right now, the successor of Gilberto is the hottest topic. Krzynowek of VFL Wolfsburg seems to be the prime canidate, I however doubt he's Favre's wish. We might see another, completely unknown player. This Amadou Sidibe guy ( officially 21 years, playing still in Mali ) did impress me at the CAN.

For the right midfield position I'd love the Angolan Ze Kalanga. The guy is just a quality player and leagues ahead of Ebert. Probably not exactly expensive either, he beongs to Dinamo Bukarest and has issues with their coach. Currently loaned to Boavista Porto.

Thanks for the TV info!

Kryznowek is all but signed.

I don't like him, I actually rate Gilberto ahead of him, but he does solve a nagging issue about free kicks and corners, of which we seem to have no one who is any good at it.

I liked Ze Kalanga at the World Cup, quality player, but I'd rather stick to Ebert, problem is I think Ebert should be playing LM than RM to be honest...

I got to talk to Kryznowek one afternoon in the stands at the Nuernberg Frankenstadion as FCN played Bayern. Kryznowek was injured that day and my son and I were in the Haupttribune as guests of Tony Sanneh.

"K-Man", as my friend Willie likes to call him, is a very solid and passionate player when he can stay healthy.

Which has been his problem over the past few seasons.

Of course, Kryznowek can't touch Gilberto when it comes to quality, but when he's on the pitch, you can rest assured this man will give your club 110%.

And yes, he is decent at free kicks, but a bit better with corners.

And while yes, I am biased, just about anyone else who has followed Kryznowek's career will tell you the same thing......

Why do I have a feeling that this could be the end of Pantelic... :(

We have so many young strikers already (Ede, Lima, Raffa, Oko, Piszche and now this fella potentially) and with news of him maybe leaving or wanting a new contract...

Or maybe I'm just really pessimistic like?

I have no information on anything like that, but I'd say that is a valid point to worry on.

I am also a big fan of Kryznowek. His crosses into the box, especially the low ones, can also be nasty at times.

Arguez and Domo (loan) have been confirmed as Hertha players today.

Good luck to both, especially Arguez. Hopefully if I go to Berlin this summer I can get in touch with him

I don't know much about Arguez, but needless to say I would be thrilled to have a player who can help my club and national team. What does anyone know about the kid? I've never seen him play.

He's a good player from the 2 friendlies that he's been used in. He's a deep lying midfielder and it looks like Favre will use him in the first team.

There are reports that Gilberto failed a second medical at Tottenham and will be returned to Hertha.

Now a Tottenham source has said Gilberto will indeed join Spurs.
