Hey Wayne, I have to tell you that I came home from the "Nürnberg vs Everton" game together with a guy who told me to be a Hertha fan! He's from Berlin and has been living in Fürth for about 10 years now.

Hes a new guy, he hadn't scored for us in 10 games prior, mittelstuermer. Was the leading scorer of the Brazilian League though before we got him, so he does have quality, I just haven't seen it yet.

Pante got subbed out in the 36' seemingly with a calf strain. Hope its not serious :(

Don't know about this guy. He doesn't really offer much. He's better than Grahn, but Grahn only makes our team worse. Piszczek doesn't really do much. we also don't really even know whats his best position either...

Berlin - Aufgrund der Länderspielreisen hat Hertha-Coach Lucien Favre momentan nur einen reduzierten Kader bei der Trainingsarbeit. Da passt es gut, dass seit Dienstag (13.11.2007) zwei Testspieler bei Hertha mittrainieren.



Der eine ist Emmanuel Clottey, 20-jähriger Stürmer aus Ghana. Der U23-Nationalspieler ist momentan Torschützenkönig seiner Heimat. Der andere Probespieler ist noch jünger. Csaba Ponczok ist ein Mittelfeldspieler aus Ungarn und 16 Jahre alt. Beide werden bis auf weiteres bei Hertha trainieren.

i know lima scored, but thats 1 goal. we need more production up front... not less. but given our financial concerns, maybe we will be forced to let him for that amount.

i also support Chelsea, so i am a bit ambivalent as to which team Pantelic plays for. Obviously Hertha need him more, but they may need the 2.5 mil. more right now... from my understanding.

At the short-term at least, Hertha don't need the money. Favre has been guaranteed 3 million euros to fix certain areas of the team, like Right back and midfield, but other than replacing Chahed, I think the team is okay right now and should begin to gel better around this time.

One thing is for sure we definitely need Pantelic on our team. Not only is he our best goalscorer, he's probably our best playmaker as well....

3M? I think Hinkel is going to go for more than that. You can have Philipp Degen. Perhaps he needs a Swiss coach to get him to play well.

Any word on who Hertha has their eye on for midfield?

Oh, and dude is kidding with Chelsea and Pantelic right? A guy like Pizarro can't get off their bench and they would want Pantelic?

Things are pretty complicated atm for Hertha's internationals.

Gilberto and Mineiro will probably not be able to play on Friday at karlsruhe because they're on NT duty in South America, and Marko Pantelic may not be able to play because the cancelled Kazakhstan-Serbia game may be moved to Saturday

so we might have to put out this on Friday night against KSC

Thats great news... i didnt know we have ANY money for transfers. In that case, i hope they dont sell Pantelic.

i also agree that he would most likely be on the bench at Chelsea, but they are concerned about African Cup of Nations taking Kalou and Drogba.
