That was a nice goal by Maltritz :D

Pantelic's goal was pretty good too, although Lastuvka might have done better with his positioning. Simunic may have found a home in the defensive midfield. Also encouraging was Mineiro, who had his best game as a Herthaner. Up to eighth now :)

I can't really see it though. We don't have an amazing playmaker like Diego (nevermind Cesc), and we have Joe Simunic, yes that Joe Simunic, playing in Defensive Midfield. Unless he's going to use his 3? million euro kitty on someone really good, I can't see it. But maybe Favre has something up his sleeve?

HerthaTV doesn't have the Wuppertal game saved :mad: So nothing from me yet, but if reports are true that Pisczcek played LM, Ebert RM, and Grahn just behind striker, then Favre made a bad tactical mistake IMO. I know that Pantelic and Gilberto out, but Favre could have dealt with these blows better. Pisczcek is no LM, he's a striker! Grahn can play RM and Ebert can play LM (he's left-footed too)...

Maybe he thought his players were good enough to overcome a third division side at whatever position he played them.

Kicker states that Hertha are interested in Andreas Hinkel. I would love to see him here, a definite upgrade over Chahed.

Also Gilberto and Hertha are about 800.000 euros a year apart from signing a new 2 year contract. (Hertha wants him at 1.6 mio euro a year).
