Coach Donovan is going to Orlando Magic, I think he is getting 5 million a year? Bad news for Tex, good news for everybody else. :D

Who is this Donovan character? He coaches that sleepy indoor handball sport, doesn't he?

Yeah, I can't wait to hear the backpedaling by the ESPN pundits who swore up and down that Donovan would never leave FL for the NBA. Never is now, apparently.

I'm an MSU guy myself, so I don't give a flying fridge about FL basketball, except MSU beating them for the championship some time ago. I don't begrudge Donovan for making the move - I figure now was the time to make the transition if he was gonna.

It just amuses me when pundits say "never" and "always".

You would really think that a Pitino protege would know better. I imagined he would leave, but for a different college gig. He'll be back in the NCAA in 3 years.

Now the UF AD wants to convince the SEC mayordomos that a Playoff is needed in College Football.

This should work out wonderfully. Donovan goes to Orlando, realizes that college basketball is a whole different game than NBA, and comes back to NCAA to lead the Razorbacks to their rightful place amongst the greatest in the country.

Last I heard, he was coaching the Panama national team.

He's probably leading Black Panther rallies in his free time.

Yeah, except the conversation couldn't have been sparkling...

AHF: Thanks for the ride, Mr. Corso.
LC: Drew Stanton! Drew Stanton!
AHF: Uhm, but you're...

it was when Rutgers was still undefeated. We were talking shit about the Big East and he was agreeing (maybe so we wouldn't slit his throat?) But, he did say the same thing during gameday alter that morning.
