I believe Di Stefano was picked for a Spain World Cup squad but he was injured and never actually played a match. I'll have to check though.

All time greats

Yashin/Banks

Cafu Beckenbauer Maldini

Garrincha Maradona Gerson Jairzinho

Cruyff Pele Eusebio

I did not include Di Stefano, Puskas because I have never seen them play. Also though not a all time great he is certainly a legend there is Just Fontaine whi scored thirteen in one WC but his career was cut short by injury

I did not see him play either(just a few highlights here and there) but you can't deny the fact that he was the best player on the greatest club team ever(Real Madrid of the '50s and '60s). That speaks for itself.

If it wasn't for the injuries that ended his career I would truely believe he would be regarded as the greatest striker to ever play the sport. You would say his name with the likes of Pele, Maradona and Cruyff. Just look at his goal scoring record for Ajax and Milan, it is amazing.

Van Basten... the hero of 1988.

Indeed an all-time great and in his days the best striker in the world.

One of the young Argentine players, likely Saviola.

Argentina, mark my words, will win WC 2006 and 2010 and Saviola will be the big star.

Van Basten was the best striker around when he played- the best I have seen in my life.

Otherwise: Zidane Zidane Zidane Zidane

his ballcontrol is amazing and i have not seen any mortals handling the ball with the same skills as he.

Michael Laudrup is also one of the greatest players ever- he played for:

Brøndby
Lazio
Juventus
Barcelona
Real Madrid
Vissel Kobe
Ajax

He was a pure joy to watch
