What about Hibs offering him a one year deal, Cardiff a two year deal, he says "no thanks" and gets a three year contract at Celtic Park. Methinks the accountants at Easter Road have made a bit of a mistake not giving him what he wanted and watching an otherwise saleable asset walk out the door. Penny pinching costing them a decent player? I think so.

It's a strange move for Celtic. He's not exactly Champions league quality.
I don't think Hibs will have a problem replacing him TBH. Maybe they could take Beattie from celtic?

The Dons are looking into Beattie atm but i could see him at Hibs as well.
I don't understand the move for Killen, not a CL, not a player who knows how to stay healthy. So we are bringing in another forward who is hounded by the injury bug. Yes he scored 15 goals prior to injury but i wonder how many of them came against the top 4. I think like most players he is just filler for injury stricken league matches and cup matches. I don't think he will see any CL football. Atleast i hope not, We need to find a striker who can link well with JVOH and Riordan.

agreed.
he's a back-up for hesselink in lesser league matches when he needs a rest or in the event of injury.
doubt he'll see CL football of any sort. at the end of the day our back-up's up front had a pretty poor season so he can't be any worse and he is a more old fashioned target man which we lacked at times when JVOH was absent.

So long as Miller and Beattie leave then McDonald and Killen coming in is fine.

Killen is already running his mouth and hasn't even laced up his boots.
Meanwhile, rent-a-mouth new signing Chris "I’m not here to make up the numbers" Killen decided that it was his job to tell the media about the future of his colleagues
"They've put one guy on the transfer list and I've been told a few more are on the way out but it's down to me, I've got to earn my place."
