I had to watch it at home, I am often bad luck when I visit the Arena (last year's loss to Leverkusen, draw with Wolfsburg the season before, loss to Donetsk in the UEFA cup in 2005), so I only try to go to less important matches now! ;)

What a win! I didn't know what to expect from the Königsblau this season...now I have the feeling that there is a lot of excitement to come.

Player for player we are much better, with the possible exception of Marcelinho but then we don´t use playmakers like him anymore. The only thing to fear is 0-0 tactics from Magath...:cool:

Hard to drop points with such an agressive performance against a weaker team, but in the end I felt fortunate to get the draw...nice work by Halil. I think we will learn something about the club on Friday, see how they make adjustments against a decent team that stole three points from them at home last February.

What teams do you wish to be in the Schalke Group?

I would prefer Manchester United ,Celtic Glasgow and Salzburg.

Then we would have a chance for the third spot and go back to Manchester in May 2008 :D

What exactly was Zlatan Bajramovic's role on saturday? If it was to be lazy and useless then he was perfect. If it was to impede on KK's space, then great job. If it was to make a pass, then F-. He was frustating to say the least (well at least until Slamko set him deep where he couldn't get in the way).

I thought Jermain Jones did some great running and Rakitic should be all you may have hoped for.

I can't say that Schalke should be that concerned about who they draw. Sure you prefer to miss out on Liverpool, Milan or Barca as they are obviously some of the best in the tournament recently.


However, Schalke is going to be the team idiots from the other 3 pull and look over, not realizing the amount of talent you have and how dangerous you are on the counter. I've said that you are the surprise team and will make the semis.

And when it comes down to the knock-out, you can play for a draw with Neuer's ability to read a penalty.
