Congrats!!!
Performance-wise I have to say though, I was watching this with some Englishmen, and I constantly had to defend the honour of Schalke...;)

Domino's is in Kobenhavn ;) Much to my chagrin though, its closed at 12. Not awesome for studying purposes, although I don't actually seem to remember actually studying in Kobenhavn ;)
12? Here pizza delievery closes at 11 :D.

Yea but you live in Braunschweig. In Berlin, after a hard night's drinking, the magic kabop place appears on your order ;)

If they keep playing like this though, there's no way they're going to the semis.
Does anyone really expect them to get to the semis? Maybe they'll stand a chance if they get Fenerbahce but even then it would be a stretch. This in itself is a good accomplishment for them.

realisticlly, i didnt expect them to get to quarters, maybe lucky to get in round of 16, so this so far is a great accomplishment but again look at monaco in 2003 i think it was...

Yeah, I think everyone saw today that Schalke is beginning to play teams out of their reach. Porto dominated the game pretty badly and Schalke just looked like really weak out there... giving the ball up everytime I blinked and not being able to create many good chances on goal. I am not saying that they are definitely out after this next leg, as anything can happen on any given day, but their chances are looking slimmer with each match they play. If Neuer didn't play like he did today, Schalke would certainly have lost that game.
Having said that, congratulations on making it through to the next round and continue to represent the Bundesliga well ;)

Awesome! Congrats Schalke!
However... what kind of commentator was that (German TV)?
Dont ask...i didnt know him either. One more on the list of horrible german commentators.

The big nationwide pizza chains at least don't sell at night, though. In my neverending battle for information I just found out that both Joey's and Hallo Pizza close at 11 in Berlin :D.

Congrats for Schalke, Porto had the better chances,
but you and especially Neuer stayed cool and
you deserve to go through.

Congrats Shalke, you deserved to go through.
Oh, come on! I have nothing against a German team advancing but calling this win deserved is quite an overstatement. Schlake did not play well, but Neuer kept them in with some outstanding saves (especially the one against Sektioui) and Porto was quite wasteful in their overall gameplan, which did the other part.

For sure. "Deserved" is a stretch considering they were busy standing 10 guys in front of the penalty area and defending even when Porto got a man sent off. They were one step behind in the entire match but fortunately Neuer was one step ahead of everyone.
Porto was clearly the better team and wanted more, but Schalke had Neuer on goal.

I liked the red Schalke kits. I've never seen them before. 3rd kits? Does anyone know where I can buy them?

Really? These jerseys look like sh*t - at least for me.
Anyway, today's lesson: Never try to win a penalty shootout against a german team!

Shocking.
Can't be worse than the crap I read in the Benfica and Braga forums after the last UEFA cup round.
Some of their moderators would be considered trolls over here.
Schalke need to upgrade their attacking line-up. Any rumours on that front?
Btw, Jones will miss the next match. :(
And yes, those jerseys are hideous. *Orange trägt nur die Müllabfuhr*

I don't want to be overly pendantic, but weren't those orange? Anyway, they don't seem to sell them in the club's own shop, I fear.
