I'm reading everywhere Schalke will heavily emphasise defence?! From all I know, if you lead 1-0 you go into the away match fully determined to score at least one away goal, as that will effectively kill the tie (Porto won't score 3).

schalke are the england of club football
so defending would be suicide considering how england do with that ;)
best of luck tomorrow though!!!

The referee is a retard and he needs to get his eyes checked. The Porto keeper clearly saved the ball with his hands OUTSIDE the penalty area and nothing. He's been giving Schalke cards easily and now this. Hopefully the moron is done referering in Europe this season. Seriously, how can you not see a situation like this, either he's blind or else he's got money on Porto to advance.
He should of course have received the red card there

I expected Porto to score after watching few minutes of the game. Why? Because Schalke have 10 guys standing in front of their penalty area. At some point it's going to go bad.

Exciting. Cant see Schalke score a goal in regular time, though. IŽll keep my fingers crossed.

Shame for Neuer, he's played terrifically that save off of Sektioui was welt-klasse. There's still time, and they have the numerical advantage, but for some reason, I don't think schalke will do it.

Did anyone see the Kevin K subsitution where he refused to shake Slomka's hand, he just walked past him. Very immature and the camera caught the entire situation.

Shalkes keeper is simply amazing.
He has saved multiple chances with world class saves, the only reason Shalke is still in this. Simply fantastic keeping!!
