He is..or rather Schalke have agreed to cancel his contract because he wants to return to Uruguay, since his fathers death his mom is missing him and since he is at the end of his career we will not stand in his way.

He will be missed though.

IMO, Sanchez is, right now, the 2nd best all-around striker in the Mexican league and has been playing very well in both WCQ and COpa America. He has played in Toluca since 2001.

From what we have heard Toluca can´t really afford to keep him and Tigres and America are interested as well but if he favours a move to Europe he is welcome to us.

He´s been playing every ordinary game for us this season...Giving the kid some rest and letting our backup keeper play some games are just the right thing to do.

I´ll update this thread somewhat....:D

Schalke went on to win against bremen in Victoria cup so we can´t complain about that.


Mesut Özil IS on his way out, all offers for him will be considered, sad when the ego of his dad might ruin his career eventually...He should have stayed a couple of years before contemplating another club IMO.

The transfer window have so far brought us 4 players which I´m very excited about....

Albert Streit, no one doubts his class, well, I don´t anyway..

Levan Kenia, wunderkind and the one that will replace Özil next season.

Vicente Sanchez, pinch me...a forward!!!!

Ze Roberto the younger, adding creativity up front.


Four players that all have good reasons to join Schalke, Streit is looking for a chance to bolster his chances with the mannschaft and some more money.
Kenia will get a good chance to make it big and will earn more than just big money, he will be given that final edge only playing with the best can give you. It doesn´t hurt that we got another Georgian player on the squad already.
Vicente is somewhat of a veteran but as he put it himself.."unless you have played in Europe you will always think about how it would have been if you did.."

Ze Roberto lastly...He left Botafogo to add some creativity to our attacking formations, which we where missing I might add.


All in all Andreas Müller can be proud of himself...for now!

I doubt any German club will offer him more money than S04 did, and then there's the transfer fee too which seems to be high enough to scare other BL clubs away.
