You can't do much after the mistake. I just felt the game was over before it began due to that mistake. Which was really a shame for you Schalke guys and us hoping for German wins in CL for obvious reasons. But the group is still wide open after Valencia managed to lose in Trondheim tonight.

No we are sometimes watching the games in the stadium,
and it takes some time to come home and on the net again.
I dont expect a Bayern "Fan" understand that.
Blue is the colour Football is the game....

I might add that yesterdays game against Bremen was a cracker...:D
Shame about the draw but as footy goes it was propaganda!
You win some..you loose some, but as a Schalker you get draws..

Yes, the final whistle.
Really, it was not a cup-fight.

Anybody going to Cottbus?
nearly the same distance like to London.
Ok Cottbus are some kilometers more but tickets are cheaper and I got a cheap flight from Cologne to Berlin and then by train to Cottbus.
Another great experience .
Come on get your tickets :D

I got my Cottbus expierence 3 times ago.
But I think a fourth time is not bad at all.
Kotbus will be exciting again.

Wow, 0:1 in Cottbus! How can Slomka be so silly and put up Westermann (I know him very well from his time in Fürth) as a LB? He's a CB who can also play as a RB ... but never a LB!
I'm really curious whether you'll make it to the Champions League this season...

Kicker had a poll about this, right now only 28% of people think they'll make it to the CL next year. 12% think they won't make Europe at all, and 3% say they'll be champion (:D)
Personally I find it hard for Schalke to make it this year. Bayern has a spot booked and Bremen are very strong again. That leaves one spot up for grabs, and right now HSV would be the team i'd pick ahead of Schalke to get it. But then again, the season is still long. And if we consider the rumours that Stevens has been offered a job by PSV, if they were to be true and if he left HSV, the club's form could well just fall apart. He transformed them last year and without him they may well have a seriou drop in form. But we'll see.

Brilliant game..hitting the woodwork three times and having a 69-31 ballpossesion advantages is not enough for us apparently...
