Fun Stuff in Your Area

So how do you find out about fun events to take your family to? I have been researching it for Utah lately and was AMAZED at the amount of cool stuff out there. I put it all online (see my signature) and I'm wondering if anybody can tell me of cool websites in your area?

How do you stay in the know for kid-friendly activities? Newspaper? Newscasts? Special website for it? Word of mouth? Just stay at home all day praying that the kids will play on the XBox?

In my sister's apartment building there are whole families whose fun family times involve all playing World of Warcraft together, listening to each other's brains melt. Her boyfriend is one of them and will probably have her become one.

Try it, it's the new fad in childcare and socializing apparently.
