Really? I hadn't noticed!! Now wait a minute, arsenals not even in the premiership they're in france, because they have no fokin english and don't even deserve to call themselves an english club. disgrace to England

This uneducated opinion, which I encounter a lot, really bugs me. People need to look at the facts.

Justin Hoyte - was one of our better players last season, started for 1/2 of the season. 18 caps for England u-21s.

Theo Walcott - highly rated, young, English, Next Henry, etc. Already 1 cap for the full national side.

Matthew Connolly - captain of the reserves. Another highly rated young Englishman. Made his debut in the Carling Cup last season, trains with the first team.

Kerrea Gilbert - another highly rated young Englishman. Has already played in the EPL for us.

Mark Randall - made his debut in the Carling Cup, like Connolly. Just signed a professional contract, went on our Austria tour.

Kieran Gibbs - made his debut last weekend in the Emirates Cup, and was one of our best players against Inter.

Henri Lansbury and Rhys Murphy represented England at the u-17 European championship.

The vast majority of our Reserves/Youth are English. Also, we have Joe O'Cearuill, who now has two caps for Ireland. So that makes 5 in the first team, plus most of our reserves/youth, plus an Irishman.

I'm talking about the ones who actually get regular 1st team football of course their reserves/youth are going to be english. When a team in the epl is starting with no english in the starting 11 something's wrong..

Sorry for the mix up, I meant the regulars not the entire club.

You have more of a point now that you've clarified your post, but if you look at our starting xi thread on the Arsenal forum, most of us wanted Hoyte to be starting RB before Sagna signed.
