I know some fans were total ****'* in Athens but i'd like to point out that for the 1st time in years of following our boys away i saw people wearing England shirts with Rooney on the back ffs i also for the 1st time ever heard small pockets of fans (term used loosely) singing 'No Surrender in the Square & Where were you in WWII' to the AC fans, both out of charachter to Liverpool fans. These reasons lead me to believe that those singing that crap were not Liverpool fans at all.
I could go on about UEFA and the lack of turnstyles but like i said on a lighter note.

I don’t see why the post should be deleted any Man Utd fan or Chelsea fan can watch those and understand that not all Liverpool fans are the same as each other and act in the same manner. It’s nice to see a lot of these video’s being uploaded daily on youtube. It shows the more colourful and friendly nature of our fan base which the media and UEFA, as well as our rivals ‘Everton and United’ who over look this fact for a nice cheap shot at the club and some of the dark events which have marred this club in the past.

It’s shame the media focused solely on the section of our fan base which consists of complete twats who act in such a violent and despicable manner, its shame news is always bad and never good, no one mentions the fact that our player stayed on the pitch and congratulated Milan on their victory, no one mentions the fact that our players played a fair match (bar a few incidents with Pennant) or the fact our fans stayed behind and applauded Milan and stayed to enjoy the occasion with the Milan fans after the match.

It was correct that the issue with ‘certain fans’ was addressed this type of behaviour from a section of morons who call themselves Liverpool supporters who thought it would be clever to intimidate the Greek and English authorities and force their way into the stadium, not only putting their lives in danger, but the fans who had a right to be there after purchasing their tickets through the legitimate channels. From reports the Liverpool end was over crowded, I don’t know how bad it was, but a stand should never be over crowded. What makes me sick is that this club doesn’t seem to learn, we all want justice for the ninety six innocent lives lost at Hillsborough, yet a section of ‘fans’ predominantly Scouse, might I add, feels the need to put their life in danger and that of their fellow supporters, what happens if there was another crush and fans died or were severely injured? What would these morons do then? They’d be responsible for such a disaster; it just makes me so angry, especially with our club because it’s happened to us before.

It’s ashame that the actions of a small minority can mar what was a good Champions League final, where Milan fans walked side by side with Liverpool fans, the supporters that are able to mingle with opposition fans and have a good time without acting like barbaric morons are a great credit to our club.

As for UEFA, they are to blame as well, I feel they came under severe criticisms and criticisms that were aimed at them were a tad bit rich for my liking. You can blame UEFA for ticket allocation, but again why did 6000 tickets go to ‘corporate people of Liverpool FC’? Shouldn’t all 17,000 tickets have gone directly to those fans that have spent thousands of pounds travelling Europe all season following Liverpool from one country to another? Rick Parry is accountable for the lack of equal distribution of tickets. UEFA gave 20,000 tickets to the UEFA Family, what for? Why do I want to see Houllier or Wenger in the stands and other members of the ‘family’? UEFA know that Liverpool fans come out in their droves for a European occasion, and they were not catered for, a lack of big screens, a lack of facilities and security at a major sporting event is sickening, but then so was the action of a section of our fan base who decided to force their way into the ground laughing because they are cheeky chappies who just want to see Liverpool fans play, while the actual ticket buying fans were kept out of the stadium.

UEFA is responsible for not providing adequate facilities for supporters in Athens and for not having tight enough security around the stadium and the lack of equal distribution, but they didn’t force those Liverpool fans through the security barriers, they went on their own accord and it’s ashame that UEFA is too spineless to punish these supporters and its shame the club doesn’t take responsibility and deals with these fans, it’s not fair and it reflects badly on the club and it gives twats like Bridge Monkee more ammo to shoot his poisonous arrows at the club and us fans.

It’s ashame that the main focus was on a section of fans who couldn’t behave themselves instead of the match or the atmosphere of a friendly nature between us and Milan.

If Celtic can behave themselves, then so can we, there’s no excuse.

Jesus dude i said 'on a lighter note'
But as you replied i'll add that i was not chalenged once for my ticket,it's still in perfect condition as are thousands of others,Uefa are to blame for picking the stadium and it's lack of turnstyles and the police are to blame for the bottle necks/crushing as they forced fans through 2 coaches that were at one stage less than 6ft apart.
There were big screens one of which provided by our friends from the Greek branch and the POAK fans that screen was for Liverpool fans only.
Also some of the guys doing the robbing were Greeks wearing cheap fake Liverpool shirts they were not all Scousers but the one i knocked out was a Scouser whos face is firmly imprinted in my brain,i've let it be knwn that should we ever cross paths again he'll be getting some more of the same.
UEFA nor the Club can punish fans who got in for free by using FAKES or BOARDING CARDS or UEFA FLYERS and in some cases just BLUE PIECES OF PAPER (yes it was that easy).
UEFA are duty bound to prevent these people from gaining entry thus allowing themselves to honour the contract they entered into with the buyers of REAL tickets.UEFA know this which is why they tried to shift the blame, they know they are liable and they also know they will be heading to court very soon for what could be a very very expensive lesson as everyone who is still in possesion of a full ticket will be able to jump on the band-wagon.

I don’t want to get into an argument here, but certain sections of the fan base acted like complete morons forcing their way into the ground, it was on every new channel here, but yes lets keep it on a lighter note, I apologise, I have just been looking for a post to unleash my frustration about a certain section of the fan base.

If I find any more you tube videos, I’ll post them up. :)

Those news clips were fans having to move the fences to prevent a crush mate,i was there i know what did and didnt go on and i'd say (playing UEFA's blame game) that certain fans were 10% at fault and UEFA were 90% at fault for those scenes with regards to the FANS who were locked out of the stadium UEFA are 100% at fault.
