Well, I have just come back down to earth after the 23rd May. I was down at the Orange County Ranger's Supporters Club watching the Champions League Final when in walked the whole Ranger's Squad including Super Ally, Walter Smith and all the team support. They watched the entire game with us and signed autographs and answered questions.
I have never seen a happier bunch of Ranger's Fans in my life. It was great to see and I hope that Celtic arrange a similar event for the Celtic Fans when they come as I think that that would be absolutely brilliant as well. It is good to see teams who are not too big for there supporters, I couldn't imagine an EPL team doing that.
BTW congrats to Celtic on the Scottish Cup. I didn't get to watch it but have it on dvr so will get to it soon.

oh i wouldn't rush to see it..:o
nice to see rangers doing that. personally i have a lot of time for walter smith. he'll certainly make sure rangers are more prepared for next season than le guen did for the season just gone.
i reckon celtic will still win it :) but i'm a firm believer that for both sides to progress, especially in european football then we need to be strongly challenging each other in the SPL.

I couldn't agree with you more on your point that there needs to be more parity at the top. I will tell you this however, Celtic have done a much better job of promotion as far as Merch. in America, you can walk into any football/soccer related shop in the U.S. and buy a top/ball, etc. See if you see someone in America with a Ranger's Top you know he had to get it from someone in the U.K. A Ranger's top an American shop is harder to find that Rocking Horse sh*t.

I go out to my local team's matches and I see Celtic tops, hat, etc. everywhere. There is even a Celtic bar in my small town. I rarely see anyone with a Ranger's top.
It is always great to see the players out to mingle with their fans. I hope Celtic do the same when they come later this summer.

That's pretty cool that the team did that . I know that Celtic have been known to stop in at the home of the NYCSC when they have been in New Jersey for a match .

I think Rangers could do better at marketing themselves outside of the UK if they pushed away from being the "British" team and concentrated on being more "Scottish" .
