I am guessing we will be doing the chat room thing again (see the FAQ for info) Bigsoccer DCU. Everyone not going out to the pubs to watch the match can talk about it on a chat. Does anyone have the capabilities to do a PBP for us less fortunate?
All the information you need to join is in the DCU-FAQ: http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42696
Webcast & Radio info here: http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53634

I will try to be in there for kickoff, but I may be a few minutes late. I'm assuming you know that the webcase will be carried at DCUnited.com.
Look for Lowesifer, as someone already has the AIM Screename that is spelled the way my BigSoccer name is spelled.

Actually, considering the circumstances - no Shootout, no local TV - I'll bump this thread and give it a "louder" title. I'll also add the link to the FAQ into your first post.
Once the match starts I'll just convert this to the PBP thread. That makes sense, I think.

nice. My suggestion for radio if you plan on tuning in, I suggest DCU and WMET.

Found it--sorry for posting a whole thread about it. Game time was approaching and I was getting impatient.

Hey, I've got to shut the computer down soon (unfortunately), so the webcast is out for me.
I thought the game was going to be on 1150 AM here in Northern Virginia. Is that correct?

Correct, although AM radio doesn't work very well during thunderstorms...

Sounds like Ali Boom-Ba-ya is wreaking "HAV-OC". Hopefully something good will come of his efforts before he tanks in the thin air...

I was afraid of that. I was hoping I maybe had the number wrong.
Thanks anyway.

That's one herky-jerky, sorta-silly announcer you got there.
Not bad though; follows the action pretty well.
