I doubt the transfer 'muppetry' will keep us amused over the barren summer period and aside from Copa América (and a few under-age tournaments) there is little on. Will we follow other sports or look to drafts and the like to keep the community going? Obviously the 100 beautiful women and character definition threads will keep us going for a bit but does anyone have any suggestions on other things to do or will we wait and see?

I already work for The Princeton Review here in SoCal and seriously not to brag but I am one of our better teachers in this area, so the guy who owns the Dubai office contacted me and let me know that I had a job for the summer if I wanted it. Obviously, that's an opportunity I couldn't pass up, especially in a non-WC/Euro year.

Wow I had no idea you were a teacher Mike. I always assumed you were only a few years older than me.

Whoooosh! I always assumed teachers were middle aged or older people but you just changed that perception. If I may ask what do you teach?

Rakim, Princeton Review and Kaplan teaching are some nice ways to make money. I just graduated college, and if I don't find any employment quickly I'm gonna get into SAT and ACT prep. I aced both of them, so I'll be able to get a job pretty quick.

Yeah the money is pretty good too, if TPR operates in St. Louis anything like they do over here, you'll bonus an extra 5 bucks an hour because you already have a BS, meaning your base pay will start at $23/hour.

You don't wanna teach bro, the real money is in Private Tutoring. Teaching pays decently, but Private Tutoring is on a whole other level. Depending on how highly you're recommended by your clients, you can pocket A LOT of extra money, even under the table from the family you're working with if you wanted (but that would be *cough*unethical*cough*).

Thanks for the advise sdot and Mike. This summer I think I'm going to embark upon my 1st employment. Working at the local mall in Macys. The head honcho of the mens department has been trying to recruit me since I was 15 lol. Speaking of SAT and ACT I still need to take them. *exhale*

Yeah, the Kaplan/Princeton is one thing I've been thinking of. However, I'm kinda at a life crossroads this summer, and I have to decide between business and medicine. Business - I sell my soul but make immediate money if I get a position. Medicine - I sacrifice another 4-7 years of my life, and more student debt, but am pretty much set till I die after that.

I'm leaning towards medicine, so I think I'm going to work at our medical school in research this summer, then apply for medical school a year from now.

On BS, I'll be watching DS slowly descend into a state of madness as he realizes that he will have to spend all his time in the Character Definition thread because there is no soccer over the summer.

In real life, I'll be a damn bag boy at a local grocery store.

Don't forget to mention that you'll be helping your granpappy at the still.

For us adults, the summer is just more of the same, only without football.

Have your monthly sex session with the wife and pretend your working at your place of employment while actually posting pics of hot girls on BS?
