Personally, I wouldn't have put Stevie in our top two of the year. I think he's been poor by his own standards.

I thought Carra was our player of the year by far!

I shouldn't have chosen Gerrard, myself. As you say, Aussie, he largely didn't play at the expected standardss. To befair, neither did many players. Agger and Reina, in my view, made significant improvements over the entire season and either one would have been my choice. Finanan and Carragher, after those horrible slip-ups at the start, also raised their levels. Finally, Kuyt could have been a conetnder but he fell just short, in my view. One must remember that this is his first season, though.

I think Kuyt's first season although not spectacular was solid enough to prove he'll be a force for us over the next few years, just needs to work on his first touch. 12 goals in the league this season is nice, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets 20 next season with a better partner than Bellamy. I hope.

Tevez or Eto'o would be nice.

Got it about right for me. It is hard to choose when you have a great TEAM. I was very impressed with Agger and Kuyt this season. The others are the usual suspects.

As a team we are going to develop more in the coming season; that has to be very frightening for other squads in the EPL and Europe.
