...not really, but they do hate Liverpool and Landon Donovan. :D
I just realized they have a link that you can listen live for free if you don't have Sirius, http://www.worldsoccerweekly.com/soccerweekly3.ram

it's called iTunes. listen to any episode any time.
I'm so glad Howard is there, I despise Nick, and Steven is much easier to listen to without Nick around. still, they irritate me so much that if there was any other show that did the same thing but with different hosts, I'd drop them like a rock.

did you listen today? They gave Angel the MLS player of the year nod already, and I can't really disagree. They also made a good point about why Beckham really doesn't belong on the national team, being that he is not included in the future with his age.

I haven't listened yet, no. they don't know thing one about MLS and I almost wish they wouldn't talk about it at all, they embarrass themselves badly.
from about two weeks ago:
"who's the keeper for the LA Galaxy?"
"uhhh... I dunno. Matt Reis I think."
"no it's not Matt Reis, he... well, it could be Matt Reis! Whoever it is, he's doing a good job so far. [also wasn't a true statement at that time.]"
for f**k's sake, Matt Reis has been arguably the best keeper in the league over the past several seasons and has probably started every game for the Revs during that time frame. he went to TWO MLS CUPS WITH THEM THE LAST TWO YEARS.

the sad thing is that one of them has season tickets to the LA matches this season. I assume he will start paying attention now that the "real" soccer is over with.

he's also the PERFECT example of why DPs don't work. there is no chance of him continuing to go to LA games once Beckham's gone. there's frankly not that great of a chance of him going to LA games after Beckham's first year.

possibly, but he might also actually pay attention to his first MLS match and realize that the professionalism and skill has improved since the last match he watched in 1996.

he knows that, but there's not a chance. not a chance. he "couldn't give a toss."

Parrothead FC, you asked and you shall receive. I co-host a podcast with my mate calle WORLD SOCCER WRAP (C), and you can find it on itunes. We cover as much world soccer as we possibly can on a weekly basis (at this time), including MLS, LA LIGA, EPL, BUNDASLIGA, SERIE-A, and everything in between. WE even try to cover leagues that you hardly ever hear about...
We don't talk down to our listeners, we are not euro snobs and judging from your comment, I believe you would enjoy our show. So give us a listen and let us know what you think????
