The season in Italy starts later than the BL, but anyways good result.

Very young forward (born in 1989) who plays for the reserves and German U18 NT.

Thanks. Couldn't find much for info on him on the club website or even Wikipedia.

Also, new Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has commented that Rafael van der Vaart is "on his list" and that he'd like to add him to Real Madrid at some point.

No chance he isn't going to leave this season!

Isn't everyone on Schusters list? I think some of us might be down towards the bottom of it.

Actually, this is one statement I don't doubt. Once they've cried Kaka's name often enough to convince their fans they gave the best effort they could to get Kaka, they will turn toward another big name and I have no doubt that vdV is right near the top of that list.

He'd be the easiest for them to get......

I didn't say it wasn't plausible. Just that if Real got every person they were going to they'd have pretty much every european international on their books and some from South America.

Of course. I understand that.

It is just that I think this announcement is not just the press throwing around names. Schuster said these things about van der Vaart and added "If we want him, we will get him."

This is not something the press made up. He said these things!

Now, I know about all the names linked to Real Madrid, but they all didn't come out of Schuster's mouth.

That is my point. Hell, the only other player I've heard Schuster mention specifically besides Kaka (To appease the fans) and vdV was Saviola.

Schuster won't throw names around like the club president or even Mijatovic.

I think if Schuster wants a guy, Real will definitely do their best to get him.

And I do believe if Real calls, vdV will ask to go.

Schuster also said that they have no interest in acquiring van der Vaart this year.

Hamburg wouldn't let him go this late into preseason anyway. It's hard enough to find a replacement for van der Vaart, but it is almost impossible to do it this late.

I have been looking in sites such as soccer.com or worldsoccershop.com but no luck so far. Anybody knows of a store that might carry it?

According to that article neither deal is done just yet.

I think it would be a stupid move for Feilhaber to go to England. He won't learn much more there. And he still has more to learn.

I think he would be better off finding a 2nd Bundesliga destination.

I agree with Footy. A few more years in Germany and he'll be better prepared for future moves.

I wouldn't worry. He'll be playing in the Championship next year anyways.
