Seems like Bolton is likely to be beat Hamburg to him, though.

And so it is now, unfortunately.

All we need is a good left midfielder...

HSV have been given permission to speak to Feyenoord's Romeo Castelen.

Now they have signed him.

Read that earlier today. The Intertoto isn't an easy road, so its nice to see them make it through.

Guys, from what I see, HSV aren't "to the UEFA Cup" just yet.

They are in the second qualifying round. Still work to do.

They should have gotten by Dacia. Now, the real work starts.

But they should do it.

The possible opponents:

FK Jablonec (Tschechien)
SV Ried (Österreich)
Young Boys Bern (Schweiz)
SV Mattersburg (Österreich)
MTK Budapest (Ungarn)
GKS Belchatow (Polen)
Honvéd Budapest (Ungarn)
Dynamo Tiflis (Georgien)
FC Zlaté Moravce (Slovakei)
Tobol Kostanai (Kasachstan)

Doable.

Very doable. But there are some there who could realistically pull the upset too.

Yea Young Boys would be tough, as would Jablonec.

And yes, Keith, you are right they are not IN IT.

I think they will go through fairly easily, however I would love to see HSV beaten by a side called Young Boys who play in a ground called Wankdorf. :D

Me not. HSV now counts for the BL ranking.
But i hope Young Boys kick out another team. :D

Is there anywhere I can see the HSV Juventus match on TV apart from the HSV PLAEYERS LOUNGE?

Any streams available for the friendly? Thanks.

After looking relegation dead in the eye for so long last season, HSV supporters should be thrilled to be in European football in any capacity. It will be more reason to celebrate if they make the UEFA Cup proper, but even getting through the Intertoto is notable.

The HSV website states the club has made an offer for Hertha's Jerome Boateng.

Looks like Hamburb beat Juve 1-0 on a late goal from Choupo-Moting. Encouraging result... though I honestly dont' know who Choupo-Moting is...?

I was at the game. I can't be asked watching HSV-TV. I mean for a fringe game like that. That should be put on DSF or Eurosport.

Anyway, the game was quite OK. Strangely the first half was much better than the second. That was a complete bore. Even though Stevens practically put on the B-team in the second half they scored.

I was really suprised how s*** Juve was. They hardly had a chance.

The season in Italy starts later than the BL, but anyways good result.

Very young forward (born in 1989) who plays for the reserves and German U18 NT.
