Stupid by Jarolim, but also stupid by the DFB. The head honcho says that him being provoked by being called "sch.. Tscheche" would of course play into the suspension and shorten it, only to give out four games anyway.

He can consider himself lucky that he isn't black, that would have led to an even bigger suspension  ;)
Then again, the DFB would have done something about Bielefeld's player, because racist remarks are only suspendable if it has to do with skin colour

This team really needs to focus on playing football. It's bad enough that the refs are incapable, you don't need to give them more reasons for cards by acting incredible stupid.

Actually doing something on the field would be quite nice as well. Not moving isn't the best way to win a game, neither is using vdv completely the opposite way of his skills.

What head honcho? Where are the quotes??

Jarolim gave an interview to Sport1.de and didn't mention any such provocation.

Jarolim got suspended for four matches for grabbing Bielefeld's Markus Schuler's crotch in the HSV's last match.

He'd be awesome!

He must be quite expensive.

I won't have much to say. I am not a Houllier fan. But if he is the man, I'll wish you guys the best of luck.

The dumbasses at my club are still sticking with Thomas Doll. Sound familiar? LOL!! :D

So what is actually happening with the team? Ok, all teams had their mid-season existential crisis, but losing against Duisburg at home and like this?

It's about time to pick up the pieces.

I think Stevens is playing far too defensively with only one striker and an offensive midfield. It worked well last season, but the second term has brought some pretty poor results.

Stevens' mind might not be fully on the job with his wife undergoing another operation soon according to some news reports......

Houllier isn't coming. I hope that we could get Klopp next year if Mainz fails.

I really hope that Schalke aren't interested in employing him. We wouldn't stand a chance financially if we compete vs Schalke....

I heard Schalke is interested in Daum and a Dutch coach named Fred Rutten. Today's "kicker" is the source on Rutten.

It also quotes Dietmar Beiersdorfer as saying there was no refusal from Houllier and they are still trying to convince him to move to HSV.

It speculates there will be some decision between now and the end of the month.

As far as I know, you guys are still the front-runners for Klopp should Mainz not be promoted.

Thing about Klopp is that a lot of teams might not really want to wait till the 2. Bundesliga is finished (so Klopp to Dortmund :D ).

Well, that depends on who is going to play international next year. :p

Unless Bayern collapses and loses every Bundesliga match they have left and HSV wins every one they have left, Dortmund is in the UEFA Cup.

Bayern is 15 points ahead of HSV in fourth place with 15 points points left to play for. When Bayern snares another Bundesliga point, they cannot drop any lower than third.

That puts Dortmund in the UEFA Cup as German Cup runners-up. :D

van der Vaart had lashed out at the management for the dropping of Kompany. Apparently he's been playing particularly poorly lately. Haven't seen enough recent HSV matches to know.

Everybody played pretty poor, the last couple of games. That's including the strikers that just weren't able to score. HSV are in a bit of low in the moment.

Yea, its Olic's low streak right now. When he is in bad form, he is in BAD form. It seems like whenever I pay attention to him, he's in bad form.

Maybe I should stop watching HSV matches :D
