Good away win over Duisberg. Only 1-0 but it counts all the same, and on a day when Munich could only draw.

Greetings HSV fans!
I have a question for you all. I'm coming from the U.S. and would like to go to the Bayern-HSV game in February. What's the best way to get tickets from here(preferably in HSV section)? Or if not, would it be bad form to show up with a Hamburg jersey on?

I can't help you with how to get tickets through HSV. Besides, I think their guest tickets will go quickly and are probably already earmarked for fan clubs, sponsors, etc.
But, I would suggest trying through Bayern.
Sign up at Bayern's website. They have their services in English also. This link (https://www.fcbayern.t-home.de/en/user/index.php?c=c&profile=true&fcb_sid=9f485c05adf9fabfe9fe1cc9fd2657b7) should take you right to the sign up page. Just click on "Ticketing", then go to the bottom, hit "continue" and fill in your info as they ask for it.
They have not started selling tickets for the second round as I know of yet, but when they do, they will go quickly.
If the link I added above doesn't work, use the regular site link at: http://www.fcbayern.t-home.de/
Once there, click on the Union Jack (British Flag for those who don't know what the "Union Jack" is)
Then look in the red block near the top and to the far right for "New Registration."
Click that and it should take you to the page I tried to link you to above.
After you complete registration, keep checking back for when they start selling second round tickets or also sign up for the newsletter, but as far as I know, that only comes in German.
I didn't ask for the newsletter, but they send it to me anyhow..... :D
Hope that helps! Again, I think you have little chance of getting tickets through HSV as I believe HSV's guest tickets will go quickly........

Am i better off doing the advance order, or will there be an actual opportunity to buy tickets online? I'm hoping to buy 8-10 tickets. Has anyone done this before? How likely am i to get tickets online for the Hamburg game in February? And does anyone know when they'll go on sale?
Sorry for so many questions, but I'm planning a trip with some friends and it centers around this game. Thanks in advance!

I think you would be better off asking that on the Bayern-board, because I don't think all that many HSV-fans have ordered tickets for the Bayern-awaygames over the Bayern-homepage ;)
I think it would be even better if you would contact Bayern directly. I'm sure that they can get something done for people who make the trip from another country.
As for ordering tickets from Hamburg. Those tickets are indeed released for members first. That means you can pretty much forget to get tickets that way. As a comparison, tickets for the game in Bremen were sold out after maybe two hours, and every member was allowed to buy only one ticket. Even if some tickets miraculously make ist past the member-sale, I don't think that you could order as many as you need.

Hamburg signs Macauley Chrisantus, top-scorer of the U17 World Cup.
Right now it's only for a ten month amateur contract, as he is not allowed to sign a pro-contract until his 18th birthday.

There are some pretty good prospects up front, Choupo Moting, Chrisantus, Ben Hatira, Zimmerman, Torun, now they just need to actually make something out of it.

Wow, that some big competition and pressure at HSV for the young guys already.
Ben Hatira imo is not a forward but rather a 10.

Wow Hamburg beat off both Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real, Inter, Barca and Milan for him. Congrats

Torun isn't really a forward either. That's why I wrote up front and not forwards. Now that I think about it, up front could be taken as "forwards" so I should have used a different word ;)
If Beiersdorfer has done one thing right, it's creating a new scouting system and showing interest in young talents at a very early point. If you continue to show interest in a player and can come up with a plan which maps out the future of the player, you are bound to get some players who might have gone to bigger teams.
